Robin Wood's Meditation deck

Here is the url to her site showing her meditation deck.

http://www.robinwood.com/Catalog/Books/BookSet.html

It is a black and white line drwing of her popular deck for use of meditation. Perhaps it would be good for exploring your personal attachment to the Tarot by adding you individual colours to each card.

What do you think?

Mystique Moonlight, you are a bad bad bad man... ;)

I've bought the deck now. I think it would be great to be able to colour it yourself, though I'd probably get two copies if I was going to do that: One for my collection and the other to colour.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Thank you so much for posting this. I simply must have it. And now I have an excuse to buy her ethics book at the same time.

MM, I don't know whether to thank you or slap you. You're too far away for a flogging, so it's "thank you" for now... :D
I think I'm gonna seriously look at owning this one. *sigh*
The only thing that ever bugged me about RW's deck was all the blond people; now I can color them all brown and black and so on...heck, I can make them polka-dotted if I want!
:)

Anyone have it yet? LOL it does look interesting. But i dont own the Robin Wood at all.

Sadly, I've decided not to get it. $19.99 + $5 US shipping is far to much Canadian. :-( Maybe one day I will change my mind. Or maybe the Canadian dollar will get stronger.

somebody must be owning this one by now...

are the cards cut out or do you have to cut them yourself as the picture (with cisors -sp?) suggest?

to those of you who own the deck and have coloured it or tried: how did it go? did you use pencils as recommended? did you colour the backs as well? did you have the cards laminated in order to use them for readings and avoid damaging them by shuffling? info, info, info is welcome.

warm blessings,

Kissa

I'm interested in just getting a black and white version of the deck, and one with a better back design!

tinkerbell  14 Oct 2004
imagemaker- i so agree about the card backs!!!!!

i LOVE my robin wood deck but i find the card backs too strong for the imagery depicted on the fronts!!! when one spends so much time shuffling, i'd far rather look at a softer, smaller pattern!!!

love tink xxx

has anybody coloured their deck yet? are you happy with it? would you mind sharing the main modifications you did?

the backs sure are better on the mediation deck. robin herself wasn't happy with the backs on the rw deck. they are such a pain for the eyes and completely wrong with the style of the deck.
