found this while trolling around when I should have been doing something useful -- http://www.abyssaltarot.com/gallery.htm It's *called* a tarot deck, but it's really a sort of oracle deck. examination will show that the ordinary arcana have been done away with entirely, in favor of titles like 'tiny whirring sound', 'uninvited memories', and 'blue autumn glory'. Nicely done photographic approach, but not a collage deck. what do you make of this?

I find it quirky and appealing -- it certainly is striking, visually. As you say, it's seems to be a sort of blend between tarot and an oracle deck. I like it and it looks as if the images are intuitive enough to make it fairly easy to read with.
