I want this deck SO incredibly badly... I don't care at what cost, somebody please sell me this deck, because it's a limited edition and I think they've all been sold! I MUST HAVE THIS! I want it to be my first deck... (sorry if I'm being annoying, the deck is just beautiful)

i just ordered my copy and marie accepted it so i'm pretty certain that she isn't sold out. have you checked her website lately? she has a special page where she is selling her limited edition for $65. http://www.mari-el.com

She's still got some, never fear. It'll be years before the entire deck gets published (she's still working on some of the minor arcana) so take advantage now! Oh, and I think she's got stuff over on CafePress also, you might be able to get t-shirts & such of the favorites.

Phew... I was afriad she'd sold out. I have one question, though: if she's still working on some of the cards, doesn't that mean if i order it now I won't recieve the full deck? I was under the impression she was only doing the major arcana cards... EDIT: I am so confused... if I order the set will I only get the major arcana and four aces? it says i will only get 26 cards, but what about the rest of them? how can I get those (cups, wands, swords)? Is this just a limited edition kinda thing? Will the whole deck be in stores sometime? Right now I'm under the impression I can only get these cards (ever) from her. Once she finished the entire deck will they be published and distributed to stores? sorry for being stupid, I'm just confused.

that is correct but it may be years before the deck is complete then she plans to get a publisher so the deck will be affordable. this is a limited collector's edition. honestly, i don't recommend this one as your first deck. i'd get something cheaper to learn on. i would only use this deck for special occasions or just to admire. why not use the search engine and key in mari-el or simply go to the decks section. i know there was a thread on the mari-el just in the past week there.

While you can see what she's got done so far on the entire deck at her site here: http://www.mary-el.com/tarot.html The deck she's currently offering is the majors & the 4 aces. It's a limited edition & the only one that will be out till a publisher puts the entire 78 card deck on the market. She's got most of it done I think, and pictures are on her site to see. I'd say get it now if you really want it, though, and if you're new, learn first with another deck, but keep this one on hand. It's a little non-standard, but hey, you know what it looks like or you wouldn't be so enthused, right?!

Yes, I've already looked at all her cards. I'm obsessed, lol, they're beautiful. My favorite is the Queen of Cups.
