Hi.
I won this deck from Ebay. I really like it's looks. It didn't come with a booklet. I have done an internet search but haven't found any information. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks.

All I know is that is was created by Tavaglione, and that he turned his name backwards to name the deck.

Thanks for the info. I did a search with his name and discovered that the deck is actually called Tarocco Esoterico Egiziano. That's about all the info I could get. Oh and it's is out of print. I suppose it will read like standard decks that we know. Or atleast that's how I shall read it unless directed otherwise. BTW the cards are quite large.

If the main background color is orange than it is probably the Enoil Gavat. If the deck is split, with one half being green or red, and the other half having two Hebrew letters, than it's the Egiziano.

This deck also appears in Rachel Pollack's "The New Tarot" and Kaplan's "Encyclopedia of Tarot" (Volume 1).

Hi Everyone
Been back five minutes and off I go again!!!
I picked up the Enoil Gavat a couple of months ago but because of work, I have not had the chance to give any attention to it. I found this thread and a little (I mean 'liitle') information of the net about it.
I found it in a shop in London and the people in there didn't even know they had it. It was opened and smelt of some kind of incense. It looked as though it had been used and I wondered if it once belonged to one of the readers they have there. Regardless of the lack of colour in it, I liked it and bought it. I have spent so many hours browsing through decks on the internet, and to my knowledge, I have never seen this one before. I still find it quite charming and would like to have a go at using it. I had seen it in the shop once before but didn't buy it. The fact that it was still sitting there alone on the top shelf was enough of a good omen for me to grab hold of it.
Does anyone use this one? There seems to be quite a bit of symbolism in it and looks readable. It was quite nice to pick up a deck where I did not dislike any of the illustrations, had links to the Kaballah and that I had not previously spent ages wondering whether I should buy or not.
Any thoughts?
