Book of Doors and Ancestral Path tarot

Hello! Thought I'd just say a few words. I have a few tarot decks and oracle decks but my two favourites are The Book of Doors (ancient egyptian oracle) and (number ONE) the Ancestral path. I really love the ancestors , reading them is like watching a dream unfold. They are just amazing. The Book of Doors are also very lovely, but they are so full of ancient egyptian symbolism and god and goddess imagery that you have to know alot about that to read them. Anyway, thougt I'd just hear if anyone else out there use these deck, it would be great to hear what othe rpeople think about them. I don't have the Book of Doors but I do have the Ancestral Path Tarot. I just love that deck! I'm currently in a fallow stage as far as tarot goes (I probably need to buy some more decks ;) ) but that is usually right near the top of my favourites list. I just love so many of the pictures and it has such depth. One of the things I especially like about it is its depiction of old people, eg the Queen of Sacred Circles. I don't know another deck that is so good at showing older folk.

I have the Ancestral Path as well - a fairly recent acquisition. It is beautiful and very deep I think. I love the way each suit represents a different cultural group and story, and my favourite is the suit of Sacred Circles. The Hanged One is unique card which really distinguishes this deck and shows its overall original perspective, and the meanings do not follow the traditional Golden Dawn meanings either.

I also have and love the Ancestral Path. The pictures are beautiful, and I find it an easy to read deck. I like to use it for personal readings. I don't know the Book of Doors, but if you need a lot of knowledge of egyptian culture it is not a deck for me, not at the moment anyway.
