I'm bored. I've got my favorite decks surrounding me, and they feel right, but I need something new. I want to experience the rush of tearing off cellophane and the glorious feel of new, slick cards.
The pas de dieux between hands and a new deck that feels just a bit naughty; the feeling of satisfying an urge that you can't quite justify.
I want to smell the aroma of a new deck. The smell that seems to go away just a bit too quickly.
Fumbling through the majors to find her, my beloved Star. She belongs only to me. Her innocence is calling to me, wanting me to climb into the card to be a part of eternity. A perfect love.
No shuffling of this deck, never. Its always a swoosh. Moving my arms in great circles through the randomly dropped cards, and in so doing, entwining myself in them, becoming a part of each other.
Bringing them together again, taking care not to damage the edges. Tapping the deck carefully on the table top, bringing the cards to a form a single entity.
The cards have now become part of me, and will reveal their secrets only to me. Other will touch them and impart their energies, but she'll always be faithful to the one who first opened her.

"one that don't go away - doesn't come in a pill or ruin
my day."
I want a new drug.
How about?
"Love is the drug" or
"love is the law"

If I did, I'd never get any work done, and I'd have to come and camp out in your spare bedroom.
The appearance of me in my undies is something from which you'd never recover.

Maybe, just maybe, try to find a very old deck. There is something altogether different about picking up a deck that has a history.
I found one when we were away a week ago. It is about 1930s (a Viennese Tarocchi deck, so actually not really useable for readings - or not without a lot of adaptation) very large cards (which probably means it is pre-WWII) and absolutely thick with dust. I imagine it has sat out the years in someone's attic. I honestly find a deck like this quite inspiring. So if you need something new in your life - consider something old!

consider:
something borrowed
something blue
or maybe just consider looking in the mirror...

but I don't want to suggest an old faithful variation.
I vaguely recall you liked big decks and you may have asked me about something that might go with Renaissance decks.
My two-week old Shakesphere Oracle still smells of ink and it has this huge oil-painting-in-frame set up and handsome minors with quotes. I think the quotes, the decorative arrangement of the pips and the wealth of Shakespearean associations go well with it's rather tarotlike structure.
Other than that, what kind of deck would feel well?

Pssst…Hey buddy…over here…sure the doorway’s dark, but you’ll get used to it…
So you want something very different? Very different? Are you sure?
Try the Tarocco Dell’Orror? It’s Italian done by Gianni Maiotti back in the 80’s.
It’s rare…but oh my buddy, if you really want something very different – then you must lean that way.
Oh I know, you’ll look at pictures online…but truly it is a flavor that is best savored.

Hee hee hee…
Comes a point where new decks just do not ‘do it’. You find that Tarot for divination or meditation…well there’s something else that you want to enjoy.
Art. Not only are there some wonderful Art Decks out there, there many kinds of Art Decks. Some hand painted classical…Humorous…Erotic. And there is investment value, just as with traditional Art.
If you know me, you’d know I love hard assets. I enjoy the dark side of things…and yes I enjoy art.
As to peeking in your window, could you move that planter a tad to the right? Your right?
