My 19th anniversary is coming up next weekend and I asked hubby if I could get some more tarot cards for a present.

Can you recommend any ? I have a few that I really want, but
other than that, I would really like your recommendations !!!!

Thanks!!!

If you already have some decks in mind, then it is best that you get them, first, because they reflect your own needs and desires. If you are a beginner at tarot and want a diverse selection of decks, if would be good to have at least one Rider-Waite-Smith type deck (I recommend the Universal Waite), a Thoth-type deck, and a Marseilles-type deck. These are the three major types of decks in the tarot universe, you'll find them wherever you go. You should be aware that collecting decks is addictive, however. There is something about the feel, smell and visual pleasure of a new deck that causes people to want more and more!

Golden Tarot for another.

I'm thinking along new ones, though.

You can always spend a year and a day at tarotgarden.com. Or try alidastore.com.

Happy browsing.

As recommended above.. I would like to ask what decks do have your interest at the moment? That way maybe we could recommend some decks that lean in those directions. :D
Happy early anniversary, by the way!

Blessings,

Hi Shadow Wolf,

If you like marseille pip type decks but not the traditional woodcut art then the Soprafino decks are very pretty, like the Ancient Italian and the Classical tarots from Lo Scarabeo.
There are many Rider Waite clones, Spiral, Universal Waite, Diamond tarot, Robin Wood to name a few.
I've just took delivery of my newest deck the Haindl tarot, this is very pretty and not a Rider Waite clone, maybe a sort of Thoth clone - The tarot of the Spirit is another type of mix deck - slighty Rider waite slightly Thoth lol.
Tarot of Prague is a nice one, not got this yet.
Hope this helps :)
