OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I am so excited!!!!!

My deck and book arrived today!! Yeah for me! BEAUTIFUL, does no even begin to describe this deck!

Have you noticed that the cards have a 3D effect? If not, go grab your magnifying glass and take a look - fantastic!

This is the BEST present I ever bought for myself!

Can't wait to get our study group together..........What do ya'll say??

Thanks Karen & Alex for such a beautiful gift from your hearts & the magic that must be Prague! Thank you for making the world a smaller place.

punchinella  02 Oct 2003
Yes, Ruby Red (you must have been born in Kansas too!) I received my deck a couple of days ago, & I did notice the 3-D effect, although I didn't think of it quite as that . . . in a lot of collage decks the halo around cut-out pieces is just sloppy-looking, but in this case I think it's what makes certain characters seem to pop out of the card at you . . . &, of course, glow with 'inner light' . . .

Okay, my Tarot of Prague story has been just bursting to come out for some time now, here goes: I have this husband who lives with his girlfriend in a nearby town, & she's Czech, & they just happened to spend the summer vacationing in Prague (VERY exotic from a North American perspective) while I sat at home sans *other*, driving a 16-year old car & unable to pay my (our) mortgage. When I first noticed 'Tarot of Prague' advertized, a couple of months ago, on the tarotgarden website, the effect felt, naturally enough, a bit like a blow to the solar plexus. I refused, at that point, even to look at the scans. It was only when I read such consistently glowing praise, from so many quarters, on the 'jewels of your collection' thread that I inwardly consented to do so . . . 'Well, I'd better take a look at this after all,' I thought, & proceeded directly to the baba website to comb through each & every scan, jaw agape . . . I now (2 weeks?? 3 weeks later?) own not only 1 but 3 additional copies of the deck . . . one of them having appeared as if by magic on my doorstep, not 12 hours after I had ordered it (incredible Prague to Ontario service--some sort of shipping accident, I gather--) Tarot of Prague & I were just--just--meant to be, or something . . .

Anyway, all this to say: it's an unbelievable, breathtaking, gorgeous, weird, happy deck . . . if you don't already own it, YOU NEED IT . . . It's beauty is such as to--in a moment, as if with a single breath--smash demolish crush & obliterate powerful walls of prejudice & defense . . . it's . . . it's . . . universal, or something . . . it's just too darned beautiful to be 'owned', in the largest sense of the word, by *them* (hubbie & Co.) or by anybody (even K. & A., deck creators . . . I think its integrity is beyond even them, at this point . . . but then I don't really know, not being them . . . )

Okay, enough gushing for one night. A study group sounds great . . . although . . . although . . . didn't someone in an earlier post (Mimers?) wonder what we would find to analyze??? --Study does seem a bit sacreligious, or something, in this case, although I'll certainly go along w/ it if other people do--

P.

I was smiling the whole time reading these posts. I did respond to the suggestion for a study group for this deck. I commented that a study group for this deck would be more like a poetry group. It is just that beautiful. It is not just beauty either, this deck is a great reading deck! I also have purchased my extra copy for when the first one wears out. I wish this weren't a limited edition. It is sad knowing that one day there will be no more.

As Mimers says maybe a study group would be like a poetry group. Why not?

Many people think a study group has to be a rigid exercise in going through each and every card and citing what the book says. I have a different approach, since I so often found learning by rote stultifying in school.

Study means zeal; to apply oneself; be dilligent. Dilligent means attentive; to choose; care for.

And that means you choose to think for yourself and come up with your own ideas and care about what you are doing. To apply ONESELF, not cite what someone else thinks.

Some of the books that come with the cards are necessary it seems to me, and I refer to The Wheel of Change as a good example since she has a much different way of looking at things. But then you take your own spin around.

I prefer exercises that involve my own writing or artwork for study simply because by doing something yourself, you are cementing the ideas and symbolism of the card and connecting to the deck personally, which makes a difference and creates a lot of joy I find. That physical connection of hand and mind makes an incredible difference.

I also think it makes a difference to consult secondary sources, or in the case of an art deck with a combination of art and writing like the William Blake Tarot, consult the original poems and art, maybe read a few critical essays or a biography.

This takes time, but is there a reason to rush if you are personally studying a deck? It also takes more than a 10-minute cursory glance at both the deck and book; is there a reason to rush?

I've stopped studying with groups for this reason. I have a different attitude, which is good for me but apparently not enjoyable for most people. I also find the lack of participation in groups disheartening. Some people don't contribute, they just read the posts, because they think it has all been said. Nonsense, If you study in a different manner, all kinds of interesting things occur and tangents pop up and a great rolling impetus for learning takes hold, and there is room for individual, fresh comment. It requires effort though, no doubt.

Most people say they don't have time, or they are not scholars, they don't know enough about the subject. Holy cow, if you don't know about a subject or writer or artist why would you expect someone else to teach you??? Get in there and learn and do. If you have hours a day to do e-mail and visit forums and join chat groups or talk on IM, maybe an hour a week to study a deck isn't such a great leap, and you might find it opens up a whole world of books and art and creativity.

My approach is a more active one and it isn't as popular. Maybe passion and intellect and the effort of learning and expanding your knowledge are not popular in these days of instant gratification and sound bites and Entertainment Tonight.

It makes a difference though, even in your overall enjoyment of life. Try something different! You just never know what might happen.

Voodoo_Shaman  02 Oct 2003
I also have and really do love the Tarot of Prague, and use it because of its modern look, but still it has that old world charm feel to it. I have never been to Prague, Long live El Ninio De Prgue!! But I have been to Madrid and Sevilla, and so the deck has that feel that really makes me love it so. I do not know if any one else has noticed. But I give a lot of readings, and I either use this deck or another. My point is, has anyone else noticed, how every one who you read to is also drawn to the deck. I have given readings to many people, and I noticed how unknowingly eager they are to help me gather the cards after a reading. Also for the first time in giving readings, they are to busy focusing on the cards, as well. Usually a persons eyes glows to the deck and back to me. When using the T.O.P they usually focus and pay more attention to the cards.

My T.O.P in the few short months that I have had her, has grown to have a spirit all her own, which is usual with sacred ceremonial objects. As a Santero “Priest” and Spirits Medium, I have used this deck not only to connect with ones inner psych but to help channel and communicate with spirits. (Maria De La Voz) “Marie of the Voice” is a Spirit guide that really enjoys coming through this deck, and have made it a tool, and consecrated the deck to her.

Anyway I am sure I have freaked a few of you guys out, so I will go on to saying that each card in this deck is beautiful, my favorite from the beginning has to be, the Four of Cups, and both the Death cards. “Que Viva La Santisima Muerte!!” All the cards are beautiful, but I love the imagery in those three.

My question to Baba Prague, I hope you see this, and are able to answer. Was wondering after Prague limited run is done. Will that be it, or a second Printing of Tarot of Prague will be issued. Also if this is it for Prague. And if it is I need to get another deck. But if this is it, are you working or will you be working on any future decks?

Also Baba Prague, love your deck to pieces, but can I give you a content on future decks. Lol :-] Don’t forget us Brown and Black folks in future works, we Latinos and Blacks love your decks to.

Much blessings to all.

I have gone on about this deck so much that I am almost embarrassed to post. I have now purchased 5 copies, two of which I sent to fellow Aeclecticians because I just needed to share the joy. I just got the last two copies in a trade with Karen (for the PoMo). I thought it was a great trade, they just came today.
What a poetic deck... good analogy, whoever said it first above. I love reading with this deck, it just sings.

baba-prague  03 Oct 2003
Hi - very quick just to say we are back from our trip to Cesky Krumlov - stunning, incredible place. The most perfectly preserved baroque town in Europe they say - I am still coming down from the experience (and madly in love with the untouched, complete with costumes and sets, wooden baroque theatre in the castle - unbelievable).

But - only just back and exhausted (late here!) so this is to say hi and how lovely and how interesting to read this thread - thank-you.

I'll post more when I am not half asleep (happily half asleep though ;-) )
I may even upload a picture or two if it isn't too off-thread. Honestly, I do need to share!

_______

Oh - but had to edit this to say - Voodoo-Shaman, this is an important point to make. Lots to say about this. I'll post properly on this one. I'll maybe show you some of the early Tarot of Prague cards that had some of our friends from various ethnicities included - until we decided not to use photographs at all. Which left us with a real conundrum as there are very few art-works in Prague that show anyone who isn't Slav - though we did find our Empress. Anyway, more to come on this. Thank-you for raising this point. It matters.

Asher  06 Oct 2003
This incredible deck is also a recent acquisition thru a trade with Karen (thanks so much!) -- it holds a special place in my collection.

While easily readable right of the (huge) box, its dialect offers some exciting variations on the concepts.

And the book...incredible! I have stopped reading most books that come with decks, as I find them simply a rehash of Tarot stuff. But this book demands to be read and savored, it's like an armchair visit to Prague with an incredible guide who knows which side streets hold secrets and beauty that must be seen.

If you are considering getting only the deck...re-consider, please! You will get hours of pleasure from the book as well as the deck.

I must get another copy of the deck to keep pristine on the shelf, while I use the other in readings.

Moongold  06 Oct 2003
I love this deck as well. As Marion said. it just sings.

This morning, Body, Mind, Spirit throw was World, Queen Wands, Chariot.

I look like the figure in World :D How joyful she is! Often choose QWands as significator being Sagittarian and of that age (!) and Chariot is my Personality/Soul card.

Can't tell you what it mean to wake up to this today.

But I have used the Prague in a number of readings now in the Reading Exchange and it is the most exquisite deck. Each time I bring it out it is as though one or more of the images comes to life, hugs me and draws me ino the inner circles of their world.

Look at the three wonderful women in these cards.........The World is dancing through those golden laurels, looking back at me, as if to say Aren't you coming now? with a deep musical laugh.

How do we share with each other the joy of working with this deck?

firemaiden  06 Oct 2003
Wow me took, all I can say is WOW. Mimers gave me the deck as a Birthday present! THANK YOU MIMERS!!!!
It is really breathtaking, a deck like no other. And we have been able to get such clear, special readings from it. I look forward to further admiring this "poetry" with all of you.

This is by far my favorite of all my decks. Tarot of Prague is easy to read, beautiful to look at, and very much a living deck. I read the book in its entirety before I did any readings with it. The first time I shuffled it, I took one of the death cards out so it wouldn’t get mixed in with the rest. I shuffled for about five minutes while reading posts on AT. When I was done, I grabbed the extra death card and when I flipped the deck over to put the death card on the bottom, the other death card was right there. Talk about convenient. (and freaky) I still had not decided which one I wanted to use, and the deck was nice enough to set itself up so I didn’t have to make that decision until later.

The book was one of the best Tarot books I have read thus far and has gone a long ways to helping me with my readings.

Moongold was the benefactor of my very first reading with this deck. It performed well, so well in fact that even though I didn’t include certain feelings and intuitions the cards were telling me during the reading in my write up for Moongold, after Moongold provided me feedback those intuitions were validated.

Gotta love this deck.

baba-prague  08 Oct 2003
I've decided that I am sort of staying out of this thread as I take seriously what many people are saying about the deck. In a way it simply has a life of its own - and I'm not sure Alex or I necessarily have any more authority over it this (or explanation for it) than anyone else.

It is an odd deck. All I can say is that Prague is an odd place. The story about the Death card placing itself back in the pack does not really surprise me. I find that cards jump out in odd ways - and one person has privately told me that she thinks that the cards manage to reverse themselves - she is definite that she is not doing this but that it happens.

If I'm being a rationalist I just think that all this may be something to do with the old fashioned lacquer we used to varnish the cards. It has a certain tactile quality and maybe it means that the cards stick together more or less than most modern ones do - or reverse more or less easily.

If I am being a romantic - well all I can say is that I'm living in a city in which things seem suddenly simply to appear or to move around - and where people believe that on certain nights the statues come to life and talk to one another. The deck has some of this quality (romance, magic, humour, "otherness"? I'm not sure what I would call it). All I know is that some of this got into the deck entirely on it's own - and I can't say quite where it came from :-)

punchinella  08 Oct 2003
Yes yes yes yes . . . that was a beautiful post baba-prague, the bit about the statues coming to life at night & talking to one another . . . well, that IS the feeling I get from this deck, of course they do, how could they not?!?

I'm the one hanging onto a 'grudge' against Prague due to a husband w/ a Czech girlfriend (see above post) & I just want to add a bit more about that: not a week had gone by since Tarot of Prague came into my house, when they contacted me for the first time in 9 months. I was able to give them one of my extra copies since she--my husband's girlfriend--actually reads cards too, but (incredibly!) had neither seen nor heard of the deck. I felt *incredibly good* about this, & still feel good--to be able to give them something not only personal (Prague is, after all, her home town) but also beautiful, of inherent significance & value independent of the personal connection . . . in a way, I feel like the deck 'called out' to them to contact me, so that reconciliation could begin to happen . . . its energy has been all positive, in that respect.

Also, I think various people have pointed out that reading with it is a bit like cutting through very, very soft butter with a highly polished silver blade (well, not in these exact words, perhaps) . . . My first reading with it functioned, absolutely perfectly, on about 5 different levels simultaneously . . . realizing this, my pulse quickened . . . I couldn't really believe what I was seeing . . .

I think I'm going to need another deck, to replace the one I just gave away . . . oh, oh, oh, oh . . .

--When does our study group begin?

Who's ready to discuss the double-death thing (I seem to be unable to toss either one of the cards, for me Tarot of Prague is simply a 79-card deck . . . )

--P.

truthsayer  09 Oct 2003
i received my copy today. just like others have been saying, there is something different about this little beauty. the texture for one is different. it is a matte varnish instead of glossy. it's been my experience that glossy decks can feel sticky and actually stick together(glastonbury, for example). the ToP cards feel dry. i'm reminded of decks made out of paper like the hello, kitty! but the paper is way thicker and durable. they may yet pass the kitty test. my cats are partial to shiny decks. i hope they ignore prague.

i'm a fan of the tarot de paris. i love the ingenius way statues are worked into images with photoshop but you can tell photoshp was used. tarot of prague is reminiscent of paris but it definitely stands alone. the photos blend in with the images more seamlessly. they look like they have always been this way and not from 2 separate sources.

i'm just starting to delve into the book...

amyel  09 Oct 2003
Well, I don't have this deck - yet. But last weekend, Marion did a live reading for me (we live in the same city) and all I can say is WOW!

And now, despite being a very good girl and not buying more decks, I.must.have.this.deck.

Definitely, the Mary Poppins books by P.L. Travers are required reading material on this subject. :)

I am feeling quite ready to start a group for this. It is late now, but I feel the urge to go to my favorite coffee shop tomorrow with my journal and start writing! :)

I got it today. Its incredible. Even the very well done website can't do the cards justice.

I need to study it and read the book before commenting much more, but this is a neat deck!

Firemaiden - okay, okay, fair comment. But if you know this city, it isn't Mary Poppins at all.

Look - one story. When we found the balcony that we used on the Eight of Pentacles we were very surprised, because it is very close to the studio but we'd never noticed it before. Then when we were looking at it, another couple came along, stopped and said "Hang on, was that there before?". The later that day I was walking past and there was yet another couple standing there also talking about when the balcony appeared. So we weren't the only ones who suddenly saw what we'd never seen before.

Now of course there's a rational reason for this. Either:
the balcony had been taken away for repairs and only just put back (I looked at the fixings, this does not seem to be the case - but it could be)
OR - it had just been repainted, which is why it was suddenly noticable (but again, I looked and the paint didn't look new)
OR - there is something about the light in Prague which makes certain things show up sometimes, and not at others.

I think it's this last. It's a combination of the light here (which can be very intense and changes a lot) and the fact that there is so much art and imagery on the street that maybe your eye just can't take it all in - you only see certain things when your eye is ready to take in more.

But - there is also a romantic truth (as in many things) which is that whatever the explanation, the personal experience is of things coming in and out of sight - and (sorry, but I have felt this) of streets and street furniture moving around. The most pragmatic and unimaginative friends here have independently said they have had the same experience. You don't have to be "mystic" about it - but at the same time, I don't want to deny it - or deny the romance and pleasure (and feeling of reality slipping away) that this gives me.

But I did kind of like Mary Poppins when I was a child :-)

darwinia  10 Oct 2003
I bumped into baba elsewhere and she did an exceptional reading for me with her deck. It was really neat to see someone in action with a deck they have created themselves. Truly poetic in many ways. Plus she was SO darn accurate and gets my vote for tarot reader and deck of the year!

Christmas is coming
The savings are getting fat
Please to put a baba in the old man's hat
If you haven't got a baba
A Death card will do
If you haven't got a baba
Then two Death cards are for you!

punchinella  13 Oct 2003
--Back to Mary Poppins for a moment: well I agree w/ baba that her deck is not exactly a Mary Poppins deck . . . However, it IS a pleasant thought, whether or not anyone else actually wants to admit that they would go for it . . . Remember the woman with the licorice fingers--didn't she pop them right off at the knuckles & hand them to kids in exchange for pennies? This just--mmmn, it works for me . . . It's not really a wands idea though, although the image is certainly wand-shaped . . . more pentacles I suppose . . . oh for skill with a pencil, oh me, oh my . . .

--& oh! What about throwing Bedknob & Broomstick in there too--& naturally some E. Nesbit (the rolly-polly desert thing--'It', I think they called it--& her phoenix was pretty great too, & didn't she have some sort of magic carpet . . . or was that somehow just an extention of the phoenix??? --oh, whatever . . . )

--P.

baba-prague  13 Oct 2003
Well, I am a HUGE E Nesbit fan. She always makes me laugh.

But, you know she has no known links with Prague!

One day, on day, both "It" and the Phoenix and the Carpet will get into a deck. For now, well I think it will have to wait :-)

dolphinprincess  14 Oct 2003
Hi.. I know the book that comes with the set has quite a bit of detailed information.. but I'm just wondering what the LWB is like.

Do the card meanings consist of keywords.. or are they like the meanings on the website (when you click to see a larger image of the card..)

Thanks!..

baba-prague  14 Oct 2003
Hi,

The LWB is pretty brief I'm afraid. This is because we had to limit it (as with most LWBs) to about 30 small pages. It's one reason why we deliberately priced the set so that it is better value than the deck alone - we want people to read the book so we don't charge much extra for it!

But - other people here may want to comment. I won't be at all offended if anyone says the LWB does not give much information - because it's true.

Thanks for asking. Oh - and if it's important we can probably even email you a copy of the LWB to see - if that would help.

dolphinprincess  14 Oct 2003
thank you very much!... that was all the info i needed... :o) i ordered the deck from tarot garden.. and as i am quite impatient (haha) , i didn't want to wait for the set to come back into stock.. so I ordered just the deck... I was then just curious about the LWB.. but I'm thinking I'll be okay with the deck. I cannot wait to get it :o)

baba-prague  14 Oct 2003
Well, I can always try to answer any particular questions you have. Enjoy the deck please. I think you'll like it :-)

dolphinprincess  14 Oct 2003
Thank you very much :o) I know I'm going to LOVE the deck. I've looked at every image on your website and I am in awe!... I am part Czech and I've always wanted to go to Prague... I really can't wait to get the cards.. I have a feeling I'll never put them down :o)

contrascarpe  19 Oct 2003
Hello all -

I am just getting back into Tarot after years away and have dedicated myself to getting proficient at readings. For years I have only owned the RW deck until a visit to Paris a few years ago when I purchased a Marseilles deck. Quite frankly, now that I am rededicating myself, neither of these decks "speak" to me for some reason. I purchased Scapini and love the artwork but the cards are too large for some of my querants. I was really looking for a deck which I knew would be "the one".

A few days ago I stumbled upon this site and again on this deck. After studying every card on the TOP website, I knew I had to have this. I was in Salem, MA yesterday for the monthlong festivities there figuring if there were anyplace local (apart from NYC) which would carry this beautiful deck, then one of the many little shops in the witch city would be the one. I figured my quest would be fruitless, which it was, but what surprised me was that not one shop had even heard of this deck. So much for the local experts.

Anyway, my question to all, and particularly to baba-prague - after my excursion yesterday I decided I couldn't wait any longer (one of my childlike qualities) and I ordered a deck/book set on the official website. Is the deck currently out of print? If so, what is the estimated date that a new printing will be available? I noticed they had a listing on amazon.uk but they only mention the book, not the deck, even though the price listed is the same for the set.

Thanks for any info you can give me and congratulations on such a beautiful deck. I have a feeling this one will be close to my heart for many years to come.

Dan

baba-prague  19 Oct 2003
Hi Dan,

Thanks for all this information. Oh dear, it's a bit disappointing that no-one in Salem had heard of the deck, but I suppose they must have so many different things to keep up with.

So - the good news is that the deck is not out of print. As we are selling (so far) mainly through our site and people like Tarot Garden and Alida, it will take a while to sell all 3000 sets (plus the 500 extra decks - although in fact those have gone down much faster than we expected). The good news too is that it is the SET that is on Amazon.co.uk. We can guarantee that as they buy them direct from us. We should see if we can get Amazon to make this clearer in some ways - the problem is that they are set up for doing books, so they word everything as though it is a book, not a set complete with deck.

The other good/bad news is that it looks as though we will sign a contract with a big US distributor. It's the second offer we have had, but we simply like these people more (the others were in fact very nice too, but they wanted us to repack and all sorts of things, and it didn't feel quite right) . We felt that they are genuinely enthused by our work - it isn't just all pure business. They even came to see us in Prague, and we found that they actually know a lot about art and literature. A definite "click". So, we feel we should agree to them distributing the deck. If it all goes ahead this means it will be available all over the US and Canada in the Spring - that's the good news. The down-side is that because of the numbers they were talking about needing, it may mean that this first addition goes OOP next Spring or Summer. If that happens, I don't know what we will do. If we do a second edition, we will change it in some way - we feel strongly that this first edition should be unique. It just seems to demand that.

I hope that answers your questions. Oh - we got your order safe and sound and we will be posting out tomorrow. Thank-you. I hope the deck does stay close to you. It's a funny deck in some ways, it seems to settle really well once it's used. I think you probably have to form a relationship of sorts with it (well, maybe that's true of all decks?)

Best wishes from a COLD Prague - winter seemed to decide to arrive today.

Uh-oh baba, that's scary . . . Guess I'm going to have to order more spare decks ASAP . . . --P.

I know Prague.... What are you saying?> That there is nothing magical or dream-like about Prague?

I thinnk if you read Mary Poppins again as an adult, you would change your mind.

Here is the thread where I explain a bit about her esoteric background The Mary Poppins Connection. Her books are very deep, some are inspired by the esoteric teachings of her guru George Gurdjieff.

baba-prague  20 Oct 2003
There is a lot that is magical and dream-like about Prague - actually "dream-like" is a good description, as you know (misty this morning, and it really does feel dream-like).

So - it seems I should read Mary Poppins! Like a lot of people, I just associate it with "Chim-chiminee" - which as a child I really loved (though it wasn't a bit like any London I knew). Hey ho, time for a reassessment?

I have to admit I always found E Nesbit more magical, but then I read ALL of her books, whereas I think I only read one Mary Poppins as a child. Maybe I missed out?

firemaiden  20 Oct 2003
ahh... yes, well, I read the MP books as an adult. There is soo much that would have gone way over my head as a child. It is very much like, well ... prose poems. :)

punchinella  21 Oct 2003
Firemaiden can we start a club? *Moderately to marginally semi-depressed adults, skulking through the children's section of the local public library, looking for a lift*

No, seriously, I think that most if not all of the best literature for children cannot truly be appreciated until one grows up.

Okay, so much for my dogmatic pronouncement of the day . . .

P.

Oh wait, I have an idea: why not do a short spread with Tarot of Prague, to determine the viability (or, not) of the proposed Mary Poppins deck?

bachrockr  21 Oct 2003
Just ordered mine last night and I am very much looking forward to it arriving.

I currently have a Visconti deck and a Victoria Regina deck and I have really enjoyed the Regina. The starkness and beauty of the black and white images really appeals to me as does the 19th century style. The industrial revolution depictions also speak to me...those engineering genes popping up, I guess.

I actually went to Prague in February this year and had a blast! By the end of my stay, I was just wandering around the Stare Mesto and soaking in the city. Everything was gorgeous from Prasky Hrad (the castle), to the Karlov Most, to the Strahov Monastery. I even saw a Prague Symphony concert that blew my mind. Basically, I went back to the 18th century for a week and loved every minute of it.

The trip was also a personal journey for me since my grandmother came from Czechoslovakia in the '20s. A big part of coming to Prague was to familiarize myself with the area, have a good time, and flesh out what I needed to know about eventually going to Slovakia near where my ancestral village is.

I am very excited about this deck, due to my ancestry and the magical vacation I had in the Czech Republic. I hope to use it often, and am really looking forward to that first reading!

Dekuji!

my deck arrived last week - i finally broke down and ordered it.

i absolutely love it!

its ironic, bc this is not the style of deck i ever gravitate to... but there is just something magical about it. can't wait to get to know it better :o)
