I've just purchased this deck. First impression is it seems a bit 'unusual' but I'm looking forward to get my teeth into it. Does anyone else have any feelings/advise about this deck?

I used to have the Karma Tarot once upon a time, it seems a bit dated now, but reflects a certain time period in recent history, and so is good for nostalgia purposes. I got rid of it because I was more interested in traditional imagery and symbolism than the deck provided. My memory of the deck is so vague now that I only remember that there was a Jimi Hendrix-themed card. Damn those dying brain cells! ;)

Thanks for the reply, sounds like the same deck. I know its old but I cant beleive no-one else on this site has this deck! You were right about the Jimmy Hendrix card theres also one with Marilyn Monroe but most of the others are people known to the artist. I've been spending some time on the deck but not quite got to grips with it yet.. far too distracted by the Quest at the moment...

Sorry for digging up older posts but i wanted to say that i have this deck.
I saw it in my local tarot shop and was surprised they had it as i had recently seen it online and it caught my eye but i'd never seen much about it. I snapped it up not really having any idea what to expect and was really disappointed when i first opened it.
However at second glance i loved it. It is extremely different to what i am use to working with and is very intriguing. It's definitely a deck i will keep now and hope to study it more one day.

As a collector, I have this deck, but haven't tried to use it yet. From reviews I've read, the symbology is rather unique.

Just realised there are some posts here, sorry. I thought this thread was dead 'n' gone, I'm glad its back though.
I know what you mean Tarotmyst, when I first bought it I loved the Majors but found the minors 'difficult' to get to grips with. But, I now don't see this deck as being as difficult some others I have. You just have to get into the 'artist way of thinking' - just my opinion. I have done a few readings with it and they have been good. What, I did find though, was that I had to go through each card carefully puting a meaning to it first (my meaning in conjunction with the authors).
Its a great deck, and it has survived the test of time, I think. Its still a very modern, alternative type of artwork, which I love.
