Lovers card

I hope this is the correct forum for this thread?? There are some lovers cards that I love!! and some that I dont like so much. My favourite lovers card is in the Ancestral Path tarot. I wish I knew how to show a link to just this card to show everyone what I mean, but I dont know how... Maybe someone can help me out. But, I have to say that this is the best Lovers card I have ever seen. What do you think? Moonbow*

:D :) ;) }) My favorite lovers card is from the Fey Tarot by Riccardo Minetti and Mara Aghem. http://www.aeclectic.net/fey/index.html Ancestral Path is a close second. What amazes me about the Fey's lover card, and the Fey deck in general is it's ability to portray the meanings of the card without much symbolism. Beautiful deck. Mimi

See what you mean Mimers. The fey Lovers shows more than just physical love to me. It seems to show devotion as well. How about we change this thread slightly. Could people put a link to their favourite Lovers card.... What do you think Mimers and Tallarico? Moonbow*

Of the decks I've seen, I'd have to say the one above...Fey. The card is so sweet, shows love and devotion. To me, you can also apply this to love of a pet or animal because they are not human form on this card... I neeeed this deck!! ;)

The Lovers in the Fey deck show more than devotion and physical, but going past the differences between them, to one of unconditional acceptance. While I'm not sure if this is my all around favorite, this is the Lovers from Morgan-Greer. http://www.angelfire.com/moon/island_woman/images/06_Lovers.jpg I think it shows acceptance and yet there is that "not-quite-so-sure" element of surrendering oneself, making choices. It is so sweet and gentle, of learning your lover and yourself in the process.
