Rock and Roll Tarot

Is there a more expensive deck that isn't vintage than this one? I lost out on an Ebay auction for a first edition version that the artist Chris Paradis was auctioning off. It went for $280US. Unbelievable. But I did contact him directly and he emailed me back saying they're pretty scarce but he was going to try to find me, probably a second edition. I was hoping to use the cards on my record label website, as a sort of, card of the day, rock and roll style. It's also incredible how much single cards go for on Ebay. I just started a thread about the Rock and Roll Tarot a while ago, probably on the next page by now. I haven't seen a more expensive deck, this one is pretty rare. I do have ONE card! Haha...well actually my boyfriend has it, I gave it to him. Good luck finding the deck!

Ha, I saw that thread. I'm trying to remember the card you bought your boyfriend....was it Dave Matthews?...can't remember. Lawguy51 Just looked, it was Pearl Jam!

Unbelievable! I think a major reason is that it appeals to fans of the stars pictured on the cards, so it makes them as major a collectible as limited-edition first release CDs, even though they may not be interested particularly in Tarot. Does anyone know a site where all the cards can be viewed?

There are decks more expensive…both the first and second editions were limited to only 500 copies. So if you get a hold of a set, you may want to hang onto it.

I have TWO cards. Jealous? LOL One was a gift from Wavebreaker (ex tarotlady). I love this deck to bits. Haven't ever done anything beyond looking at it, but it's so kewl! :P Single cards sort of went for small fortunes from the beginning almost, and that was such a pity! In the almost 2 years I have been checking so many decks have been smashed for money sake... *sigh* I got mine from a very special friend and it's just a keeper, even though I only have a second edition. But WOW it seems like this is becoming rare too! Neer neer Ahaha :P I have a double, I mean many doubles: all the small "bonus cards" I got twice. So if anyone needs, we can find a way. ;)

OH well... honestly 275 or 280 dollars for a deck is WAAAYYYY too much! :D We love you all the same lawguy, no problem! ;) LOL

Good news!! I got hold of a shrinkwrapped 2nd edition Rock and Roll deck. I plan on doing a card of the week on my record label website (with the permission of Chris Paradis). Lawguy51
