What about it? It's fabulously beautiful; gives interesting but somewhat difficult readings; was expensive to start with and is now a "collectors' item," meaning one feels sort of odd about actually TOUCHING the thing to use for readings in case one wrecks a card; not to mention the cards are a bit on the thin and delicate side...

I adore this deck; I got it from a university Philosophy lecturer, and I treasure it. It's based on the DC Vertigo comics, and uses figures and images from the comics to create beautiful, slightly grotesque Majors. The minors are just as beautiful, and in the same style. It's not an easy deck to read with; the cards are so complex it takes a while to get used to them, and to learn about the characters in them, but it's well worth the effort.
It's very expensive, about £50 - £70 usually, I've seen it go for more on eBay, though.
The cards feel divine, like proper tarot cards, but they're very thin and fragile, and obviously replacements will be difficult to get!
This is probably my favourite deck, and is one I treasure. It got my vote for Deck of the Year.

It does come with a book, which helps if you're not a fan of the comic books that they're based on. The art is sort of 'dark' and can be pretty powerful, no light & fluffy readings with this deck!
I've seen the book up for sale at half price bookstores, but the deck never shows up there, you'll have to look around. It went through two printings, both available through comic book stores instead of book stores, and both printings came in elaborate boxes with good presentation.
I think ebay would be your best bet as the place to find it. Expect to pay between $50 and $120 for a set though. Unless you're extremely lucky!
