I just don't get it! It's got to be one of the most beautiful and inspired tarot decks out there! As far as I can tell people like it, people bought it. It's only a few years old.
Then why oh why is it out of print!!!???!!!!
Amazon had one used copy for sale at $172.02.
What are my chances of ever coming across an affordable copy? Like under 50 bucks?

Hi There
Actually you never know. A while ago I put in an amazon request for a copy and said I would pay up to $20 for it (I think it has been a bit lol) and one of the people that sells on Amazon had them for $18 and next thing I know my credit card was charged and they sent it out to me. Just remember if you do that that the sellers often don't email you to see if your still interrested before then send it so if you change your mind or find it to cancel your request :)

Don't be affraid Belladona
I really wanted this deck too..amazon wasn;'t even an option for me cause i don't own a credit card. But one day i happend to walk in a store and saw a copy staring at me from dusty shelf. The shop owner did not understand my hyper recation to it. I got it home with me for the original price!!!!
So keep hoping and look around this decks has the habit of finding you if you want it bad enough ;)

Thanks guys. Maybe now that I've decided it's the perfect deck for me, it'll show up some how. I suppose a little magick couldn't hurt... it's been awhile!

Every so often I hear this is out of print, then I hear it's in print again...then out...then in. It's a beautiful and well-received deck, so maybe it'll go into print again.
Have you ever tried Alibris.com? It's an alternative to Amazon. I have found decks I could not find at Amazon at reasonable prices there. I'm not sure if it is international, but it is a good bet if you are in the US.

Not so long ago, I was browsing a local new age shop and came across this deck unlabelled, unpackaged, just wrapped in cellophane. You could only see the top card, I felt I had seen it somewhere before(it turned out to be a Rachel Pollack book) and told my sister I thought it was the Greenwood. She bought it! I think she paid a pittance for it, no more than £6-£12. If only I'd realised it was such a collectors item!

Maan is so very correct on this.
I have run across 2 in the last year. The first one a friend was selling. I couldn't afford it for myself but I helped find it a new home with an AT member. About 3 months later I was sucessful in getting one thru Ebay from another AT member. Our Ebay ID's are a different nick so neither of us knew until I won. I recognized the paypal nick. We both had a chuckle over that.
Keep searching, when a Greenwood is ready for you, it will let you know.
