After a long delay the Nijinsky Tarot is at last online again... on a new site which is nicer than the previous one - I think so anyway.
It's at www.nijinskymix.com/tarot (all lower case) for anyone who's interested.
Sorry it's been offline for so long... I've been just too busy to redo the site but at least it's finally done now, so hope you like it!
All the best to everyone for 2004

Question: It may be my old computer, but were the web pages on your site designed to load at the speed of a sloth on barbiturates? :D

Happy New Year to you Nij!
Just to let you know, I think your deck is stunning. I just hope that one day it becomes available; easily the most beautiful and though provoking photographic deck I have seen.
Best wishes

Feebie, are you just enjoying the deck, or are you connected to the artist in some way?

Actually I intended to have this message on the Nijinksy Deck Thread, and I have no idea why it ended up here.
No, I am not connected to the Artist in any way.

Probably you hit the "new thread" button instead of "post reply" while you were in the Nijinsky thread. It's been known to happen....

My sentiments exactly! I have kind of given up on buying new decks at the moment. Firstly, because I always end up returning to the old faithful and secondly, because I am skint! - might indulge in the Arcus Arcanum if I run into it though!
However, if your deck became published, I would definitely save some pennies up! I noticed that Joe Dalessandro was one of the pages. Did you photograph some of the models or are they collaged? As spoonbender says, they are all so calm but vibrant also.
Best wishes

*Have you spoken to anyone about publication at this stage? It would be a shame if readers never had the opportunity to use them; or are they just your own personal tool?*

Ahhhh, now I've seen the deck and it's marvelous. I had no problems with your site, and love its background movement. I hope that someday this deck is published.

It's not available but has a "U.S. Games" imprimatur on it?
It looks OK but I'll pass.

I am very moved by your deck. Most Tarot decks leave me cold (very very cold.... brrrrrrr!!!), but yours has warmed my heart.
For your wanting to share it with us, I want to thank you.
I understand that it was not a commercial venture and that perhaps it will never become one. But I hope you don't mind that I print out your pictures, including your minors which I enjoy very much as well, and put them in an album so that I can admire them and contemplate them at will.
I am glad that you made Justice VIII and Strength XI. Very very glad.

When you say it "has a 'U.S. Games' imprimatur" on it, can you tell me what you're referring to? I don't see that on the website, perhaps I missed it.
Thanks --

Lee, I can't load the site right now, since I wanted to go back and check to make sure I was not imagining things but I *did* see a notice in the site that the rights to the deck were reserved by U.S. Games or something to that affect.
If it has disappeared, perhaps I was seeing a ghost . . .
I liked the artwork, it was very nice.
My only dislike of U.S. Games is their insistence of putting their name on every card in a deck; it really stinks, thus my aversion to them.

Thank you all very much for your kind comments. I've been very flattered by how well the pack's been received.
Sorry that some people have had problems with the site... but I DO say in the opening pages that because of the high inevitable number of images it's designed for broadband users and that dial-up users might have to wait a while for cards to load.
Just to clarify - I have not sold the publishing rights to anyone, so the reference to US Games was in your imagination.... a vision of the future perhaps! But currently I have no plans.
Thanks
