Hello all; I just recently secured a 2nd edition Rock & Roll Tarot Deck by Chris Paradis. I also secured Chris's permission to use the deck on The Orange Record Label website. How cool is that! I have never seen the Rock and Roll Tarot. John Lennon as Death. How appropriate not only because of the way he died, but because of the radical changes he tried to make in society.

...and today is the anniversary of his 'death'. I plan on pulling a card each week but for the first one, I just picked Lennon. I've just heard from Chris Paradis who created the deck and I just had to share his email with the rest of you: Steven, I love the Death Card for the anniversary Today... you have given my deck concept a new Life.. and the commentary is Brilliant - Im submitting my new deck idea to Chronicle books - If they pick up the new one - Perhaps theyll take on mass producing the R&R deck - then I can get you to do the book on it... :) Because - I'd like it to be done how youve commented on the card on your site - with insight and humor... VERY GOOD!!! Congrats!!! :D I am so so looking forward to a massive reprint! And a book would be awesome, I always wanted to experiment and delve into the deck more, study it properly, but never did cos I didn't have a "guide" and needed too much background information on music which Ididn't have... That's so so so great, Chris made a great choice Eheheh! :D

...well, he doesn't yet have a publishing deal for the deck and I'm sure his remarks were off-the-cuff, but it was a nice compliment at the very least :) . LG51
