(if this needs to be moved please do so, hope it's okay here) Just a quick "heads up" to say that we are offering a big discount on any order of two sets - but only for the next three weeks. See the big red notice on the website! www.tarotofprague.com It's partly because we promised to do a Christmas/New Year offer, partly because the US dollar has fallen rather dramatically, so I thought we should do something to compensate a bit (even if we can only do it for a short time) and partly because - well, it's Christmas! Also want to say that our individual decks are running out fast (so we want to encourage you to buy sets with books :-) ) - these went down really fast once we began selling to local shops here. Lots of visitors seem to go home with a deck tucked into their suitcases, and (GREAT!) lots of local people like them too - we have a LWB translation into Czech now. I hope we might even be introducing tarot to some people (and spreading tarot addiction? grin!) We are supposed to ship individual decks (along with sets) out to our US distributors after Christmas, but if we even send them fifty (which they will think pathetically few), then we will have none left. Not sure what we will do about this. Anyway, you have been warned! Also - we were in Prague Post letters for three weeks running in the end. I am going to try to put all up on our website. In the end Raymond got in touch and said "er, it's wonderful but please can you ask people to stop writing now" LOL. Thank you hugely for writing - and I hope that we may now see Prague Post open up a bit more to writing about Magic Prague. Okay - that's all the news. It is grey and overcast here, but not cold - this is very unusual but also enjoyable. A warmish December in Prague? Unheard of, but also a bit of a relief in many ways. Hope we get some snow at some point though... Oh - one bit of news. I just remembered. We may have some ToP greetings cards in the New Year. We are working with a lovely woman here to do something special for those. Fingers crossed that it all works out.

Karen, This sounds so great! Thanks for the special offer. I was wondering if it would be possible to get 3 poster size prints of the 3 of cups? I would like to give one to my 2 sisters for Christmas. Is this possible? Mimers

Yes, no problem we are (quietly) still doing prints. They take quite a while to set up as Alex does each one individually (and balances colour etc) so we deliberately don't advertise them on the site as he can't do too many - but they are available if you look on the storefront. We bought a roll of really good watercolour paper from an artist friend (we liked his paper :-) ) and they come out beautifully. But - what do you mean by poster-sized? How big do you need as we can only really do up to A3 (on the storefront we just have the A4 size for now). Oh - Alex has just said that bigger than A3 won't come out well in any case as it means "blowing up" a smaller image and it may come out in poor quality. He says that he can adjust the image up to A3 size to make the resolution sharp - but not for a bigger size. Hope that makes sense. We've just got some nice postcards of The Chariot too, but these were just a try-out. We won't sell them, they are more to use as compliments slips or to give away or whatever - but it was exciting to see how a postcard looks.
