I've been receiving some great decks right now that I haven´t yet the time
to absorb them all . But one that´s right now one of the most significants for me is the Master Tarot. The only reason I've got it was because I´m a big fan of Americo Folghi´s work, but this deck
contains such pearls of wisdom that I think it´s a blessing from Heaven. It´s based on the life of Jesus , but don´t be confused
with traditional dogma or stablished religion. The Truths contained
in it are Universal Principles, seems to me pretty Zen
like a Folghi´s version of the Osho Zen.
Besides the reviews or the commercial success of this deck
I feel thankful to the authors and publisher alike for the joy
this deck gives me.

Hi BangBang,
I have the Master Tarot and I also have found that it is very rich! Some people don't classify it as a Tarot deck because it doesn't have suits. To me it is still Tarot. There is definately a major arcana. There are 16 'people' cards, which to me is the same as four suits of four court cards. There is 40 event cards which is the same as 4 suits of 10 minor arcana cards. I agree with you that this deck is more about the actual teachings of Jesus rather than the twisted, convoluted, mixed up jumble that most Christian churches teach. This deck speak very true for me. I think it works very well with anyone that might be a bit reluctant to use Tarot cards because of a repressive Christain background. Good deck. Enjoy!

I received this in a trade today (thank you Brenna, and your stuff is on the way!).
It's absolutely gorgeous.
Is Folchi the artist?!
It's really unspeakably beautiful and rich, and unerringly honest.
Direct line to your guides here, people. :)
I've wanted it for some time, and asked the universe to bring it into my life.
Thanks universe!
I"m excited to play around with it, so you may see an offer for readings soon.

This being a Roman Catholic country I live in, I think the Master Tarot would help me disspell all those nasty beliefs about tarot being evil. This one goes to my wishlist. :D Thanks for bringing this deck to my attention, bang2x!

The Master Tarot (Folchi/Montano) deck is an unconventional tarot deck, and under many people's definition it wouldn't be a tarot deck at all. Its major arcana don't follow the traditional major arcana, its pip cards and court cards don't have any suits, its court cards have no ranks. The pip cards are numbered 1 to 40 rather than 1 to 10 of each suit.

Well, I still consider it tarot, because I seem to have a more global definition of the term than those some people you mention. :)
When I first looked at the box, I only noticed the Mario guy's name...didn't see the Folchi until I got home and looked again!
It's system will, I think, be extremely evocative.

For those that have this deck, how detailed is the LWB that comes with it?? ... I find it is sometimes difficult to use "unconvential" decks that do not come with a book.
Thanks.

Very interesting deck! I like the lack of ranking in the "people" cards compared to most, let me call them, wisdom decks. And the titles on the majors are interesting.
I know Christian tarot users who would be pleased by this deck's unconventional clarity on what's important about Jesus--his teachings, not the institutional church's manipulation of his teachings.

I'm currently using this deck for my daily draws, and I've noticed that it somewhat tends to exaggerate the point. It says things in a decidedly "different" way...

Thanks.
The LWB gives pretty good backgrounds of the cards. For example, card number 34: Knock. The LWB describes this card using the Bible verse, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you..." Then it elaborates more. It sounds like the companion book for the Osho Zen. It doesn't dig deep into the symbolisms of the cards, which I think is no problem since that'd allow for some freedom on the reader's part.

Thank you for the information!
I passed over this deck many times in the past, but it seems to have caught my eye recently. Its funny how you can not notice something for ages then all of a sudden you find it appealing...
I like the fact that it is based on Jesus without being "preachy"...

Oh, I don't know about that, DP. Judging by the LWB, it's probably the "preachiest" deck I have. It's right up there with the Tarot of the Saints and the Osho Zen...But you might find it differently.
