I recently received this deck from faunabay, and I think it's one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Just wondering who else has this deck, and what they think of it? Any tips for studying?

Hi Dark_Angel
I don't have the deck although it looks like the sort of deck I like. I've been looking at Tarot Passages and they have a good review which may give a little help. I'm sure now that this thread is bumped someone else will help you...... BTW I looked for sites and they all seem to be in German - shame I can't find one in English

that there would be an English language version of the Ananda, probably this Spring. Urania has licensed this version to AGMueller.
I was searching the net for news of the Eden Tarot from Urania, used to be known as the Future or Zufkundst Tarot. A translator's resume listed both the Ananda Tarot and Zufkundst as her translation projects for AGMueller in the Winter of 2003. In another post, I found a listing and posted the link from Urania that they were redoing the Future Tarot into a new format and translating it into English, due sometime in the Spring of 2004.
So I don't think you have long to wait. AGMueller's site hasn't updated for new titles yet, so this is all a collection of fan
chat....but hope this is reliable enough for you...I had given/traded away my German language Ananda because as beautiful as it was, it wasn't evocative enough for me to really use it.

I have this deck too, I have only had it for a few weeks but I had been thinking about getting it for some time.
My impression is it will be a good deck to meditate when you feel cramped, all that space and things flying through the air.
I think it will be best for when you need a gentle reading or for spiritual questions, for some questions I think the deck is too positive as there are no negative cards, even the 3 of swords and 9 of swords are non-scary. But as there are no key words on the cards you can still use your own meaning for the cards. The book seems to go a lot into self-development and spirituality.
And I thought the Princess of Pentacles looked a bit negative, she looks so sad but I read in the book she was not meant that way at all.
Will be able to tell more about this deck in a few weeks probably :)

I'll have to look out for the English-language book. My German isn't stunning, so I'm going through the book quite slowly (proud of myself though, as I haven't got a German dictionary here, and haven't spoken German in four years); the English one will probably be out before I finish the German!
It's strange that you said the deck seemed positive, WolfSpirit; maybe it's true that individual decks have their own resonance. Many of the cards feel quite melancholy to me, and even reminded me of literature by Mervyn Peake and Tolkien. Or it could just be that I'm a natural pessimist, lol!
I've just done my first reading for someone else with the deck, and it feels like a deck that I can really tap into, possibly even more than with my beloved Vertigo (and you all know how much I love that deck!).
