Baby Tarot???

Is there such a thing as one? I was just wondering because I was looking at pictures of my handsome nephew today and thinking, gosh, that would make a great 7 of Swords card. (It's of him escaping through the pet door!) Kim

If there isn't one, why not make your own? It would be a really cool project - and would have tons of appeal!

I don't know of one, but one of my favorite Sun cards is from Cerrithwen Genetti's photo collage deck (a majors only deck called the "Flowers of Life") that used one of Anne Gedde's baby photos for the child- sitting inside a tulip and surrounded by sunflowers. Her Empress card is also nice and she used a photo of a woman holding a baby. So, probably some real potential there for someone with artistic talent (I don't qualify:-)

It would be fun to go through family pictures and create a personal tarot deck, though maybe my mother-in-law wouldn't want to be the . . . no, I won't say it :) But I was thinking I could be the fool, and could go on from there. Hmmm.

This is a brilliant idea! Let me think... 8 of Pentacles: Baby stacking blocks Strength: Tiny baby sleeping in the lap of one of those gigantic stuffed toys. The Fool: Baby crawling toward the top of a staircase... dog with deathgrip on the baby's diaper, holding it back. 9 of Cups: High chair tray with 9 jars of different kinds of babyfood. 6 of Swords: Bundled up in a carseat

Great suggestions! Though maybe the Strength card should be the baby with a real animal. A St. Bernard?

I like the suggestions I've seen here of doing a personal tarot deck with family photos, so I may end up doing just that. Thanks to everyone for their feedback and enthusiasm! :) Kim
