Ok, Earth Angel has over 150... that's gotta be up there - I have only two (and a rather long wish list but they fall within the luxury category and so far the budget just doesn't see fit) ...
so anyway I'm curious WHO'S got the MOST? (two of the same deck would still count)

Probably about twelve, or maybe fifteen - but I haven't counted. Most of them are Marseille decks, or Marseille style, or other historical decks.

I have 300, but there are at least two members, here on Aeclectic, who have listed more in Kiama's thread.

I have 28 and its more than enough for me! For a while I thought it was nice having different decks with a different viewpoint or theme but now I just wish I only had a handful. Better to know a lot about a few decks than to know a little about all of them. I am seriously thinking of letting some of them go and many are in excellent condition.

I have 30 decks - But there are a couple I would love just for the artwork, don't think I would be able to read with them but they are pretty, but I am making myself wait before I order them instead of just plunging in and ordering them instantly like I usually do. :)

Somehow my collection has grown to be 16 decks. Hmmmm, I need to stay away from ebay.

155 decks so far, with about 4 on the way I think...
Damn student budgets! If it wasn't for them I'd have many many more decks! })
I think Gerbear's got the most, but I believe Jeanette from Tarotgarden posted once saying she has over 500 decks. Or was it 700? I don't know, but I'd love to see her list! :D

No, not me! Two years ago Jeannette had over 800, and I'm sure that total has gone up. She must be over a thousand now. Soiitaire has 400 and Asher and Kimber have over 450 decks each. Of course there are those who chose not to list their decks, with substantial collections also.

I'm somewhere in the region of 40 decks, hoping to keep the buying down to about 5 decks in 2004.

Six decks, and that's enough for me. Though I may have to reconsider when the Gilded Tarot comes out. ;)

Let's see, a deck for every room in the house, plus a deck for each car, plus a deck for each suitcase, plus . . . excuse me, got to order a few more. . . and I don't have one on my bike yet.

WOW! I didn't know there'd be that many versions (then again I did say two of the same would still count)
Are there really that many?
I guess there's a group who collect for the joy of collecting... it seemed like forever I thought there was only the Rider Waite variety (until I found Aeclectic and am becoming enlightened)
When I looked at the decks here I thought it would be beneficial to broaden my perspective- being a fairly visually simulated person I finally convinced myself to get a second deck for that reason
I went to the Rainbow shop and stood there uming and ahing over the 5 or 6 different decks they had on offer (I discounted the oracles - thought I'd stick to the tarot cards first and maybe go to oracles later) I must have stood there for over an hour picking up the Thoth and then another I can't remember the name of and then the Osho Zen - I finally went for the Osho Zen (the pictures looked inspiring and vividly colourful which is what I like) I didn't realise the Bagwhan(?) connection til I got it home - that really kind of annoyed me because I don't think much of the man - how arrogant to put yourself on a card and call yourself master!!!!
I generally remove that one before I read and have found the deck quite different to the RW to use - more a personal reflective sort of deck I guess.
I imagine the other decks would work better for different kinds of queries or situations but how many could you have and work like that? Personally I don't feel I've fully "learnt" the RW yet let alone the Osho (mind you I can't devote a lot of time - especially when I get on here!!) but you'd be a lucky person to have the time to really get to know your decks if you had just a dozen.
Any suggestions for deck number three?

LaLa: From what I understand, Osho himself had little to do with this deck (not even sure he knew about it - lol - ). It was one of his disciples that designed it. (I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.)
Well, Osho always made me laugh. He had a very funny sense of humour.

I've read a lot of Osho's books and bought this deck as my second one because of the vivid art. Unlike any other images, these always give me a thrill and take me beyond the mundane moment.
I use the master card as a signal to use a Zen Master's awareness of what to do. Not that that's at all clear! With Osho's way of acting, it could mean "rip up the deck and go fishing".

1) One cannot possibly grasp Jeannette’s (of Tarot Garden) collection. Now understand there are collector’s – and then – there are Collector’s. I think it’s the original art, and the artists folio’s that really round it out.
2) Check out the articles in the Library on the Tarot Garden web-site for information on the Osho decks..

I only have seven decks, so far, but hoping to make it grow a great deal, this year. Sort of a New Year's Resolution!

Somewhere in the vacinity of 25 decks. There's about 5 or 6 more that I'd like, but that's about it. I'm kind of over constantly getting new decks. It's too hard to get to know any particular one really well.

I have 29 and nothing on the way. That number includes several oracle decks and several sets of affirmation cards. I only use two or three decks.
