Attention deck hounds!!

Almost everyone is aware that Lee Bursten's Gay Tarot will be published soon by Lo Scarabeo. Another recent thread tells of the Tarot of Star Eternal. While cruising their site, I discovered six more future decks in Lo Scarabeo's catalog. They are: The Pagan Tarot, Tarot of the Druids, Tarot of Atlantis, Native American Tarot, Golden Tarot of Renaissance, and Dragon's Tarot.

There were no release dates, just the names and a few cards on display. I'm sure more information will surface soon.

I saw the Tarot of Atlantis and the Native American Tarot we well.. I'd love to know when they will be released...

My latest information is that the Gay Tarot will be published in July, and thus available in the U.S. in around August.

Yippee!!! :D

Lee, that is so great. I just want to reiterate my desire to purchase a signed deck, if that is possible!

Me too please.

July isn't long - that's great.

And me, please?!

I'll even live without electricity to afford one! lol. :)

If your hands aren't tired yet, could I have one too?

Kiama  03 Feb 2004
I am eagerly looking forward to the Gay Tarot, and by the sounds of it it'll be coming out around my birthday. :D })

What is this Atlantis deck? Is there a link to it please?

Hi Kiama, if you go here:

http://www.loscarabeo.com/catalogo2004/Catalogo_UK/catalogo.htm

Click on "Tarots" at the top, then click on "Modern" at the left, then click on "Atlantis" at the left (fourth from the bottom), you'll see some cards.

And August 2004 was just a date that came up in google searches of "Estensi Tarot: Golden Tarot of the Renaissance." I think Amazon.com also lists it as a possible date, although it says "Spanish" for Lo Scarabeo, which I believe is the "Spanish/English edition."

What I do is check Alidastore.com around the time of expected shipping and Tarotgarden.com. By the time it hits Alidastore.com, Tarotgarden usually announces their update of pre-ordering

Tarotgarden.com listed a Spring date for the Pagan Tarot, so I guessed the August date for the Gay Tarot, the Golden Tarot and then a slew of decks...

I am delighted at Lee's deck...although, for me, I've been waiting a year and forever for the Estensi Tarot, modelled after the so-called Charles VI. Perhaps it is not that close to perfection, but I liked Gareth Knight's use of it in his work and there is something about the designs that reminds me of a favored historical study point for me, Ferarra under the three sons of Niccolo III.

Best wishes,

Mari H.

P.S. Can you tell I've been looking forward to a certain title?
