Hum. I tried that a few days ago and got an email the next day saying it was not not really in stock. Otherwise I would have told you all. I was almost ready to post here and a little voice suggested I wait. And when I checked it still showed on the site as being there. So... let us know. M

Thanks Marion....
I was beginning to suspect the same thing...after I placed my order, I went back to the website and it showed the Greenwood as still being available, so I figured it is pretty likely that it is already gone :( I probably won't hear from them until Monday, and will post here when I find out...bummer!

That's Ok, Jewel-ry!
It's not your fault...besides, I am still holding out a tiny shred of hope that maybe I got lucky this time!!!! LOL...I should hear more tomorrow, and will let you know either way. I had a feeling this was too good to be true...I mean, the Greenwood cards and book for $26.15?????? But I wanted to believe it, and still do.
Thanks anyway........

THANKS Lark!!!
I just went and checked it out....I am not sure if I will be able to come up with a suitably "stunning" offer, but I will give it a try....
I am still going to wait and see what happens with my "order" before I do anything else....but will keep you posted!
Gracias!

Well, it's official now...i got an email from Classbooks.com that the item is not in stock and my order was canceled....I am so ticked off, this did not have to happen if they would simply update their software to reflect availability of stock. I decided to write them a letter, letting them know basically that they suck:
To Whom It May Concern:
Thank you for notifying me that my order has been canceled. However, might I suggest that your company update your software so that customers will not order items which are not in stock? It would certainly save everyone a lot of time and heartache...for me, this item happens to be a very rare deck/book set, which I was very excited to have found at such a reasonable price. You can imagine my disappointment when I went back to your website to find that the book was still available to order after I had already ordered it....I have talked to other tarot collectors since then who have had the same experience as I had, weeks ago. I would think that having the website automatically update availability would save you time, as well as provide a more satisfying experience for your customers. I seriously doubt that I will be shopping with you again, especially since I have no way of knowing whether or not you actually have the item in stock that is being advertised....to me that reflects substandard customer service, and there are so many online booksellers that are more deserving of my business.
Thank you for your time in listening to my concerns, and I sincerely hope you will consider making some changes, if not for the sake of your customers than for the future of your company in such a competitive market.
Sincerely,
Of course, when I tried to send the email, it came back undeliverable....boy, they really are a top-notch organization, aren't they??? I have learned a valuable lesson through this experience: be careful who you order from, not all online businesses are reputable or deserving of our time or money!

Luna - you wrote a very professional letter! I'm sorry it fell on deaf ears... but thank you for letting us know of your experience.
I have found some wonderful deals on the web... But sometimes you really do get what you pay for - a whole lot of nothing!
I do hope you find your Greenwood someday.. actually, I hope WE ALL FIND ONE :D

Keep checking often. I found mine on Amazon in one of their zshops, and there is also Alibris.com, which is kind of the same thing as Amazon, only much more pleasant to deal with in my experience.
Good luck! This deck is worth it.

I FOUND ONE! There was another tarot listing on a pagan bulletin board that was talking about a little store in West Palm Beach, FL that had all sorts of old decks, out of print & tons of books. All they knew was the name of the store & the city.
It took me 20 minutes of searching online, but I found it in the visitor's bureau information for Florida, only they had two addresses & 3 different phone numbers. I called this morning & got the right address/phone (the old ones were from 7 years ago, old store).
He had the Greenwood, only one copy (book/deck) which he could send me via mail for a total of $58. YEAY!!!!
He's got tons of stuff, but NO email or web site. Old guy, with a slight accent, he's very nice. If anyone is looking for stuff, give him a call, he says he's got a lot, can send things by mail, but generally don't have independantly published decks. The Greenwood was an order for someone who never came to pick it up! It's been on his shelves a while, they'd bought a bunch when the deck was first available & this is the last of it.
Here's his address: The Rainbow Bridge, 7593 S. Dixie Hwy., West Palm Beach, FL 33405 Ph: (561) 585-2000
