WOW Moonbow!!!
That does look very much like the Greenwood!!! This one is also OOP, but apparently not as expensive as the Greenwood....hmm. I had never heard of this one before...thanks for the link!

Is it OOP too? According to Amazon it ships in 1-2 business days, and it was in the Aeclectic newsletter as a new deck?....................... I like the colours they seem much brighter than the Greenwood but some of the designs are very very similar............................. Moonbow* (keyboard trouble!!)

I dunno....I clicked over to Amazon from Aeclectic (the link you posted of the cards) and it looked to me like all they had were two used copies....I'll go check it again though...

The UK Amazon may have a different availability than the US one... It is likely you are each checking the Amazon in your country ...

Hey Moonbow...
I checked amazon again...and it is OOP. Figures, huh??? Why are all of the *best* decks (IMO) like the Greenwood, OOP???? And yet they keep churning out some pretty mediocre decks on a regular basis....no names shall be mentioned! ;)
Seriously though...I also wonder why there are so many EXCELLENT decks, pictured here on AT, that cannot find a publisher???? It boggles the mind...and since I have no control over any of this, I must calm down and just *let it go*....

Good point, dp!!! LOL...I rarely pay attention to where people are geographically...guess that might be something to think about! So now I can go off on another of my pet peeves: why doesn't amazon carry the same titles in different countries???? Do they just ASSUME that only people in the UK would be interested in a "Celtic" deck???!!! ;) Geez....if the powers that be at amazon would figure out how to make *everyone* happy, then maybe I could actually order the Bachbluten Devas here in the US!!!! *sigh* OK....I'm done now...thanx for listening!

Thanks Mari!
It is a relief to know that there are still some used copies out there, selling for a reasonable price....guess I will probably get one since it is the closest I may ever get to owning the Greenwood....

Too bad there's only 40 cards in the oracle. I'd have liked to see more. The colors are really vibrant!
Hope it comes with a booklet of some kind. One of the cards is The Stag--which means what exactly?

Thanks for the link Mari
I have the Greenwood (but not the book.. beg ..beg) but I think for anyone who cannot get the Greenwood these have surely got to be an alternative - even if only 40 cards. I agree with HudsonGray the colours are much brighter than the Greenwood.
In the Greenwood the stag is the Ancestor or Spiritual Guide, see here: http://www.herebedragons.co.uk/chesca/cp/green.htm

FYI - I have both the Greenwood and the Celtic Shaman. They are two completely different decks by the same artist. I wasn't sure if that was obvious or not :)
