Have we ever determined what that Tarot deck in Charmed was? I wrote a letter to the producers of the show, but never recieved a reply.

I never got a reply from them either. I have a feeling it was one "made" for the show.

Hmm ive never noticed that deck mainly cuz i dont watch much TV, but is there a picture of it around?

And its a episode that they don't seem to repeat. The only card I can remember now is the 3 swords which was the man on his knees with the swords going through his chest (I think) and it didn't seem to fit with the other cards. At the time it was shown I spent a lot of time on Charmed forums and the question of what deck it was was being asked there also. I too think it was a mix of two decks just for the show.

I remember this thread too! I have not seen this episode of Charmed, but I would really like to know the answer, if anyone finds out...they sound really interesting! Would anyone be willing to write the producers of the show again??? I know it has been awhile since the original thread was started... If anyone wants me to send them an email, I would be happy to do it, if I can get the email address and some details about the episode/cards in question.... :) Luna

I will be glad to do it...I should be able to just go to the WB website and send an email through them. Would someone here be willing to refresh my memory a bit...like the title of the episode, or description of it, what year did it come out, and what specifically did the cards look like??? It was the episode wher Phoebe gave Paige an Tarot deck for a brides-maid gift, I think it was on the eve of Phoebes wedding to Cole. They were large cards, like maybe the size of Rohrig cards. Paige drew three cards, three different times and got the same three cards. I only remember the tower being one of them. And that backs were a dark color. I think it was in August when I emailed them from the WB web site. I can't remember which season it was, but it should not be too hard to find since it was Phoebe and Coles wedding. Wish you better luck than I had. edited to say; I emailed them again... maybe multiple emails will result in a response ;)

The other card was Death and the 3 Swords. I can't remember now whether Death was a skeleton or a reaper figure in a robe - all I really can remember was the 3 Swords. He was on his knees, head raised I think, white shirt with the Swords going through his chest. I wondered for a long time whether they had used a Visconti deck for the Majors and then made up the 3 Swords because it just didn't match with the two other cards. They were also very large, didn't come in a box but a tarot bag. Thats just about all I can remember of them.
