ISO Space-themed Deck

Hey all. Does anyone know of a Tarot deck which features astronomical phenomena? I ascribe to the Quantum Elements idea and would love to find a deck that perpetuates the natural beauty of outer space...not a sci-fi Star Trekkie deck, but one with depictions of stars, galaxies, planets and such. I suppose it would likely be a modern photographic deck if it exists. Any leads toward this or a close equivalent would be great, thanks!

Welcome to Aeclectic, Glaucus! There's a deck that's just like what you describe, except I think it's an oracle deck, not a tarot deck. It's fairly recent, published like a year ago. Unfortunately I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, and thus I can't search the net for it. Does anyone know the one I'm referring to? It was photographic and composed entirely of outer space scenes. As far as tarot decks, the only one I can think of would be the Voyager Tarot, a photographic collage deck which has planets on a lot of the cards, although not all. http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/voyager/ -- Lee

Thanks a lot Lee, I'll be on the hunt for it. If it's recent, it shouldn't be too hard to find. I also understand that you're the one behind Lo Scarabeo's Gay Tarot. That's a deck I'm quite looking forward to as well. Good luck with it. EDIT: 5 MIN LATER Wouldnt you know, the second I post this I find it! Youre thinking of the Universe Cards deck, it has 35 great Hubble photos, based on the four forces of gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak forces. I just ordered it! Thanks again!

Terrific! I'm glad you found it. I guess I should have actually tried to look for it instead of assuming I wouldn't find it! :D Let us know how you like it when it comes (I suppose at that point you should post it in the "Oracles" section). -- Lee
