Does anyone blend the meanings of the Osho Zen & that of what you learn of say RWS or any other Tarot & numbers together?
I have these cards but only use them for myself. I was thinking about trying to use them with blending both meanings. I find them to have deep meanings & when I read RWS I use some of the Osho Zen meanings for examples.

Ros: Very possible & even probable that those who read with both the Osho Zen & the more traditional styled decks blend the meanings & associations. It would be automatic &/or unconscious as well as a conscious attempt to determine the representations.
Osho Zen is radically different from RWS. May benefit from applying traditional deck meanings, at least towards a construct of possible references. Its images & different card titles tend to encourage thinking out of the box. Thus, Osho Zen would broaden the possible applications of meanings in RWS.
Whilst the meanings traditionally associated with RWS may not readily lend themselves to the Osho Zen & even "suffer" some in the transition, some of the essential meanings could still apply. Indeed, could enhance the use of RWS.

I've used the Osho Zen for a long time. I'm working with the Universal Waite now. I find some of the OZ meanings "leaking" into my UW readings but I try to concentrate on the images more than the official meanings. I find experience changes my meanings over time. I really don't try to integrate the meanings, it just seems to happen.

Never. Osho Zen Tarot is a class of its own.

I have to agree with Diana. The OZ is so different that I don't relate it to Tarot meanings. It is one of my favorite decks, but I really think of it more as an oracle deck than a tarot deck.
Besides I find the cards in this deck so rich and moving, I really do not need to pull from anywhere to come up with a meaning.

The OZT's keywords and meanings can generally be traced in some fashion to the Rider-Waite meanings, and it can be fun to so trace and to analyze. However, that said, it would be confusing (at least for me) to try to relate to those RW meanings while in the actual process of doing a reading with the OZT.
Even though the OZT doesn't have the _same_ card meanings as the RW, that doesn't stop the OZT from being a _tarot_ deck. A deck can still be a tarot deck, even _if_ its cards don't have RW card meanings. The RW card meanings aren't the only possible tarot card meanings.
The OZT is a tarot deck, in my eyes.
