It is a beautiful deck, but I have a hard time with the minors.

Ah yes. It's been on my wishlist for a while :) That's what happens when you spend your days browsing every deck on Aeclectic.
If you are drawn to it, go for it. Don't worry too much about going for a more "beginner" deck. Most decks follow Rider-Waite symbolism in some form, so I say the most important thing is that the artwork speaks to you.

This is a lovely deck and just reading this post has made me dig it out.
There are many subtle images in it e.g.look at the Justice card, her eyes become scales in the reflection! And the moon with the swimming alligators, thats a really good image - drowning from your inner fears or illusions, survival instincts. The Empress, nursing the baby animals with the care of the world on her shoulders. Great images.
I agree the minors are a little tricky but hey elephants and earth, that works. You need to look for the little clues in this deck, but its lovely. If it works for you, use it.
Just realised I'm gonna have to have a little play with this one today!

I love this deck. It's greatest appeal to me is, besides its beautiful, lush artwork is that the author is Thai, just like me. It's nice knowing that me and the author are of the small culture, and as such, it makes me feel I have a better understanding of the deck in a way I can't really explain...
I love the crocodiles approaching the woman on the Moon card. Yet, she is totally calm and serene, floating there in the moonlight and the dark night. To me, its just screaming, "When your caught up in confusion and you've lost your way in the night, find your inner peace and spiritual center." Danger may be around, false friends mite be lurking, typical illusions and deceptions may be present (typical Moon matters), but when you have this inner serenity, they have no sway over you.

I have this deck and like it very much. The Tower card is amazing. It shows part of a giant figure, and the lightning struck tower is right over the heart. Gave me pause.
I will say that I find much more Thoth-like in flavour than a RWS clone.

I love this deck.
Even if it doesn't become your main reading deck, I believe it still has much to offer. I'd recommend it.

I love this deck, but I'm unable to look at it for long (which makes it pretty unusable).
Some of the cards are really fuzzy. Not because of the artwork, or the printing, but (as a knowledgeable friend told me) probably the photographs that were taken of the original artwork were out of focus.
So it's not something that would be corrected in a new printing.
It always makes me sad, it would have been such a wonderful deck otherwise!

That's sad, Hedera! My cards are not fuzzy at all.
I love this deck. The pictures look like dreams, very poetic, and evocative.
