I had been putting off getting the large size Thoth as I wasn't able to easily locate a blue-box AG Mueller Thoth deck. From the _green no more_ thread, I learned that the new stock items of US Games green box decks are no longer green tinged. Accordingly, eschewing amazon because of the old stock / new stock lottery, I bought one of those new stock items in person, verifying colour beforehand.
Besides the obvious fact that there are some details in the cards which are so small you can't easily see them with the unaided eye unless you have the large size cards, it's wonderful and enjoyable to be able to look at the cards effortlessly, without squinting!

That's great! I agree, the large deck is just wonderful and I'm glad you were able to find the new un-green version. Enjoy your new deck.

I think big is indeed better (in this case) despite not usually subscribing to the touchy-feely thing! ;)
The only problem on the horizon (sic!) is the need for more (table) "real-estate" - to accommodate my OOTK spreads? Hmmm... something the size of an average county should suffice! But seriously though, I bought a couple of "pocket sized" Thoth & RWS (AGM decks) for these practicalities... :D

Rusty, totally agree. When I started the Thoth I had a large deck but it was old and I think a cheap edition. The images are all slightly blurred. I still use it to read but the wonderful details are missing as I discoverd working through the book. I bought the regular size which helped but it was finally the wonderful large AG Mueller deck that finally allowed me to see what Lady Harris and Crowley really created between them.

Hi Rusty,
I took a chance and ordered from Amazon UK hoping that I wasn't going to end up with a second green copy.
It made my day when the parcel came and I opened it to find a vibrant, large none-green copy of the Thoth. It's like looking at another deck, I had been using the smaller version and couldn't believe the detail I had missed. Its given me a new view on these cards and they are a pleasure to use. :)

Hi, Rusty!
I was lucky enough to get a large blue Thoth from ebay recently and it's completely changed my view of this deck: I really felt the green-tinged ones were murky and "dead", but the "blue" version is definitely much more vibrant and alive, making me want to study this deck.
