Hi,
My first post so be kind :)
I've searched the board for info about this 22 card deck but not really found that much information on it.
I noticed it on ebay and put a bid in, even if it's at a ridiculous price I really liked this deck.
I Google'd it and found this page which has some info on it:
http://www.wicce.com/lemystique.html
If anyone has one of these decks (2,000 limited edition + 500 unnumbered extras) or any information on it, I'd be much appreciatative!
Info I've found out:
It was published in Switzerland in 1983 by Alexander Mourouzi and it does feature in the Encyclopedia of Tarot vol 3, pages 379, 383. I don't have a copy of this book, maybe someone here could post what it says about it?
Also, Mourouzi catergorizes the 22 cards into four 'septenaries' (the Fool not included in this) which illustrate various progressive meanings.
There's a sample of some of the cards here:
http://www.tarotgarden.com/database/images/m-decks/mystiquecards.gif
That's about all I've found out and know about this deck so if anyone has one of these or knows any more about it....
Thanks
Flex :)

Welcome to Aeclectic. When you get a chance, why don't you go to the new members section and introduce yourself.
If you get this deck for the price of your bid, you will have made a bargain buy. It is a very rare collectors deck. If you don't plan to collect, then maybe you would be happier with the same type of art in a more common deck. There are thousands of decks, so you should find exactly what you want at a not so 'ridiculous' price. If you get the deck, be careful. Rare decks have a habit of attracting more of their kind, and before you know it, you WILL be a collector! You seem to have gotten most of the available information on this deck

Hehe thanks for your info.
I dunno there was just something about the artwork on this deck that made me go 'oooh...aaaah'.
It's only my second deck, my other is a RWS one but I can't say I've become too attached to it yet so I'm gonna try this one and see how it goes... although it is only major arcana, I'll have to see though.
I'll be sure to post in the newbie section too :)

Welcome to Aeclectic!
What a beautiful deck you've found - good luck for the auction.
Gerbear's right; it's impossible to just have one collectors deck... so... welcome to Tarotholism! :D

I won the auction, now I just gotta wait until they're shipped from the US to here, so might be a while.
If I get the chance, I'll try and scan the whole deck for all to see. (Are there copyright issues with doing this though?)
Thanks for all the comments
