Does anyone have it?
Is it a good deck?
I saw it here not long ago and it was love at first sight. I would like to know what you guys think of it.
Does it come with a guide book or something?

I think you meant the Gothic, didn't you? ;) LOL!!!
There are two "Gothic" tarots, one is a photographic deck of cemetaries, the other is by Joseph Vargo and features artwork of vampires, gargoyles and other "creatures of the night"....
I have recently purchased the Vargo Gothic, after many months (years) of pining for it....it was love at first sight for me as well!!!
This deck is darkly beautiful, and unlike any of my other, "lighter" decks. I think you would be very pleased if you do decide to add it to your collection! :) I have not had an opportunity to read with them yet, but I have a strong feeling that we are going to work very well together....
FYI, there is a Gothic Tarot study group here that may interest you.....check out the Study Groups forum.

I, too, have recently purchased the Vargo Tarot. I haven't connected with it yet, but that is because I have so many new decks (plus limited tarot time this week) that it hasn't been looked at very often. I always had an interest in the macabre, and this deck certainly has a "feeling" to it. It is quite striking and I am anxious to use it for a reading.

I've ordered from Amazon 'Gothic Vampires' is the one you mean? Gothic Vampires looks quite interesting, can't wait. Still patience is a virtue, but sometimes a requirement too!

There is a Cothic Tarot by Cilla Conway. It was created in 1979 to celebrate the feminine creative forces, 'Cothic' was coined to be the female equivalent of 'phallic' At present, it's on my 'unattainable unless winning the lottery' list. LOL Check out the Encyclopedia of Tarot, Vol III, pages 152,153.

Very interesting, Gerbear! I had no idea there was a "Cothic Tarot", just assumed it was a typo....LOL!!!
crazydeka: You can order Vargo's Gothic deck from tarotgarden for $18 plus shipping, or on the artist's website for (I think) $15 including shipping...however, you have to mail a check or MO so it takes a bit longer to get it...:(
The website is: http://monolithgraphics.com

The one that I am talking about is the Gothic Tarot by Joseph Vargo.

The Vargo Gothic is a great deck. Very sensuous. The images are dark, but the readings I've done haven't been dark at all. It comes with a LWB, but there's no companion book (yet). I ordered mine from Monolith Graphics (because I'm cheap and I hate to pay for shipping). The deck came in about 10 days.

I just won it on eBay, shipped for $18. Thank god I didn't pay more! I didn't know about the artist's site, and had searched around on Amazon etc.
The deck price was 15, so I still feel this is fair, esp. considering I skip the money order and extra waiting. hehehehe
I saw Contrascarpe96's copy this weekend and was really moved (I think Gardener liked it too). Can't wait to get it.
