Yeah SweetDreamer, it's difficult for us to advise when we don't know which one you mean.
They're all so very different, & yet of the same name. Kind of an odd thing :)

I think it all depends on your taste - Do you like the artwork of the Angel Tarot or the Rider Waite?
The Rider Waite would probably be easier to learn with but not if you don't like the artwork. The Angel tarot might be a Rider Waite clone deck so you could use RWS symbolism with it. If it isn't then you would be using just the LWB or maybe a companion book to help interpret and learn the cards. Or you'd go it alone and just use your initial thoughts on the cards - maybe not so easy for a learner.
