Hi fun2bewif,
I have this deck. I think it is a very beautiful and gentle deck. Mine was originally purchased for my 10 year old daughter. For the time being it has migrated to my collection (long story).
I have only read with it a couple of times. I can say that it for me at least, I find it to be a very readable deck. I think the author has done a good job matching up the story characters with the RWS meanings.
However, I was not impressed with the companion book at all. I think someone not familiar with the meanings would be better off reading the actual tales and fables associated with the characters, but that is just my opinion , others here might feel differently.

I love this deck :) It is really easy to read and you can find most of the fairy stories on the net. There were only a few cards I didn't really care for and some really great ones.
