Hi,
Is there a way to compile a LIST of those decks that work primarly with the elements expressed as Fire=Swords & Air=Wands? Maybe it could be kept or sorted on Aeclectic tarot for those of us (many) who work with our elements in this form.
I know there are a few decks like the Witches Tarot, but it seems hard to find them without going though lists of reviews.
Even if the deck doesn't support this elemental correspondance, I would like a deck that maybe deplicts it either way for ease of use. ANY input would be helpful. Cheryl :-)

I think that the Nigel Jackson uses wands/air, swords/fire.

The Witches' Tarot by Ellen Cannon-Reed (not the Tarot of the Witches by Fergus Hall) uses Fire=Swords and Air=Wands as well.

Another is the Renaissance Tarot by Brian Williams...

Shapeshifter?

Lo Scarabeo Celtic Tarot (gaudenzi) does.
Lo Scarabeo Renaissance (trevisan) uses air for the ace of wands, and fire for the ace of swords, but neither element is very present in the rest of the minor cards.

Yes, the Shapeshifter does it this way.
Same author as the Celtic Dragon.

Not on Urania's online pdf catalogue or AGMueller's website, but as noted in another thread, this is supposedly translated to either French or English sometime in 2004...and I think given to AGMueller for distribution...there was a cryptic note in November/December in 2003 on the Urania site with the Zukundfts title and picture, but only a translator's reference and some no-picture listings on Amazon.com in France and England for the new title...
Tarotgarden.com has the German language edition.

What makes you say that Osho Zen is Fire=Swords? The cards, and the companion book that comes with the deck-book set, seem silent on the point of element-to-suit attributions?
As well, are you sure about the Tarot of the Spirit. I confess, though, all I have is the deck, not the companion book.

I don't think Hanson-Roberts uses fire for swords; as far as I can tell it follows the Waite-Smith for all symbolism, including wands for fire.
It's also not the Art Nouveau from Lo Scarabeo, it's the other Art Nouveau by Matt Myers (U.S. Games). And the Merlin Tarot is not by Lo Scarabeo either; I can't remember the publisher offhand.
And one more to add to the list is Tarot 2000/Pagan Tarot by Robin Payne and Rosemary Lewsey. Didn't someone else mention the Renaissance Tarot by Brian Williams? That also belongs on the list.

The book for the Tarot of the Spirit has the Wands paired with Fire.

In the companion book to the Osho Zen it says that "Clouds have been chosen to replace Swords, traditonally the suit of air, representing the mind."
