LS - Tarot of Druids

I have owned this deck for less than a week and it's my first tarot deck. (I got a 22-card one from my friend long time ago but that really doesn't count because I didn't take it seriously.) I have been interested in new age stuff for a long time, but recently got drawn by the attractiveness of some of the tarot decks. I used to think you need to be psychic to be good at tarot but from my experience with some tarot readers, I think I can try it and be good at it too.

Before buying this deck, I have researched a bit on the net. Tarot of Druids, Sacred Circle Tarot along with some others caught my eye. But when I looked at the real things, Sacred Circle's photo-realistic graphics turned me off. And after comparing this with the Celtic Dragon and Pagan Tarot, I picked this. I'm thinking of getting Pagan Tarot later - reminds me of comic books and Universal Waite - just to get a more standard deck.

My first-day experience with the Druids was better than I had expected. The readings made a lot of sense to me and I just seemed to get the message right away. I even did one for my friend over the Internet.

The second day, I showed it to my friend and she did some random readings herself. I just wanted to show her the artistry of the deck.

The third day, I did a lot of readings on myself, and found it taking a step back from my initial experience. And I had a mild headache - don't know whether the confusion was caused by my headache or my readings leading to the headache. (I was actually going to reply to a thread discussing a similar experience but can't find it.)

Anyway, today I asked my deck whether I should not let anyone else touch my deck, thinking that may be the problem.
And know what, I got the Magician dropping from the deck when I shuffled my cards. And that makes a lot of sense to me again.
Seems like it's telling me to concentrate, to realize my potential in order to bring out the magic.

So far, I think this is the right deck for me. I'm an optimistic person and some decks's images are too dark for me. And I like many of the LS decks.

Anyone having this deck and how do you like it?

I would never go against one's first deck...
but, to be honest, that deck is one I don't like...
I have the feeling it is barely more than a pretty face...

Actually it has worked pretty well for me so far. I only have had problems when I asked about something that I didn't really care or when I phrased the questions vaguely, which I guess would be the problem with any deck. And I use the standard Rider-Waite card meanings as the base.

I do not like the artwork for the minors on this deck, nevertheless it did work very well for me when I tried to read with it.

I think it works because the cards depict situations, - the many symbolic elements do not scream out ** I am a symbol** -- they just work -- for example -- the 3 of pentacles - the guy going for the egg ("going for the brass ring"), but having to face the snake at the same time -- lots you can do with situations like this.

yup, I remember that card well even though I never got it in readings maybe because I'm scared of snakes. I guess I really picked the right deck for myself. When the salesperson suggested the Celtic Dragon Tarot to me, I told her I wanted to see human. I'm not good with abstract symbols like the Thoth. And the reason I like tarot is because it can describe a situation rather concretely.
