Where can I find an explanation of the colours of this deck? I've read that they are according to Paul Foster Case.

The book "The Book of Tarot" by Susan Gerulskis-Estes is described and illustrated with the Morgan-Greer tarot and goes into detail about the symbolism of each card, including the colors....hope this helps

Hi Closrapexa and Yve,
I too use 'The book of Tarot' - it might only be a slim book but its worthwhile getting for the information it contains. Also the 'Spiritual Tarot' by Echols, Mueller and Thomson explains the colours and symbols used on the Morgan Greer but it also uses the Rider Waite and the Aquarian too.
I think these are the only two books that touch on the Morgan Greer at all.

When you buy the B.O.T.A. Tarot that is associated with Case, the accompanying booklet goes into great detail on the colors employed in each card; the deck is black and white, and is meant to be colored in as a spiritual project by the buyer. Case is very insistent on the coloring being done as he orders, although you are, of course, free to do as you please. If you go to the B.O.T.A. website you might be able to find more information about the colors employed in the Morgan-Greer.
