Try www.tarotgarden.com they sometimes still have the unusual/rare decks in stock or can get their hands on them.
I DO know of a tarot store in Florida who actually had a Greenwood left (I got it)! He might have some of the ones you're looking for, as he'd buy up a dozen or so of new decks & store them in the warehouse till they sell. Doesn't have a website or email, but you can contact him at: The Rainbow Bridge, 7593 S. Dixie Hwy, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 phone # 561-585-2000. He doesn't rack up the price if something is out of print. Nice old guy with an accent.
And try Wolf Treasures, lorrywar@earthlink.net his phone# is 314-772-4805. He has some unusual stuff & can locate the unusual.

1.Trigono has fiabe (fairy tale).
http://www.trigono.com/Tarocchi/TA05TP028.htm
2.Alidastore has the fiabe (fairy tale) only. (alidastore.com)
For Japanese ones, sometimes sasugabooks.com has tarots, you can always do a search there.
Good hunting!

Hi September Pixie,
Have you tried www.abebooks.com or .co.uk?
They have a used book finding service. Mimers recently found a copy of the Greenwood Tarot there.

Arcana for the New Dark Age can be found at Amazon.com Other sources are the Mystic Eye.com and La Maison du Tarot in France.
A Google search will turn up many more. Once you get to be known to other collectors, you should get a chance at the private sales of collections that never reach ebay.

Just wanted to clarify, it's the Celtic Shaman's Pack that I found there. William Blake Tarot of the Imagination can be found there too. The Greenwood was a gift from another member here at Aeclectic.
Still, just the same, Abebooks is a good resource to check periodically for oop decks and books. You never know what jewels you might find there!

The Fiabe is on eBay right now -
Oh, oops, it *was* on eBay, but the auction just ended. But there were no takers. Sometimes if you email the seller, if you missed an auction, they will sell you the item. The seller is gotarot, you should be able to contact them on eBay.
Have fun!

I just bought this deck from tarotgarden, and it is lovely. It comes in two different sizes - I got the older larger "Arte" edition, which is my preference, but it is not really a shuffling type of deck, more to lay out the cards and admire them. I know tarotgarden still has the smaller size and that might be easier to handle (also I think less pricey!)
I like it so much that I'm trying to decide between getting the oversized majors only Renaissance or the smaller deck with minor arcana. Anybody have thoughts?

For the Renaissance by Trevisan: You can get the mass market 2000 or 2001 edition, 78 card deck through bookstores and Amazon.com and you will find it is much lighter unless you can guarentee the 78 card deck you are receiving is the 1995 Lo Scarabeo edition. I like the mass market version just for playing with, but the colors aren't as pretty to me as the earlier 1995 smaller deck with 78 cards and the yellowish backs.
My 1995 edition is really small and hides periodically, so I cannot find it at the moment--because the size is smaller, the printing is somewhat darker. I traded and received the Renaissance majors in larger format, 22 only, and found I liked the colors better, it was like my 1995 small deck.
At some point I got the oversized majors of the Romantici and found it also came in a darker 22 card version, smaller size. I like Trevisan's work when the printing comes out truer to the dark tones. I hope the above makes sense to you...

Ah, I see I am talking with another color fiend. I am obsessed with color, it is my favorite topic this decade so far. I put friends to sleep talking about the qualities of different pigments. So yes, the above made a great deal of sense to me and I will avoid the lighter cards. Funny, I believe the Haindl has the opposite problem - the smaller cards are (I hear) darker than the original. I am hoping to get my eager mitts on the original large edition of the Haindl so that I can work closer to the artist's orignal colors there as well.
I remember there was an interesting discussion about the artist's original colors for Margarete Petersen's Empress as well - someday I will have to get to Germany to see the actual painting.
At the risk of veering off topic - I noticed your new name and corresponding quote and I must ask, what IS the true meaning of cerulean? Cerulean is a favorite watercolor pigment of mine, and I once had dreams involving swaths of transparent cerulean washes flowing around me, what a great dream that was. So please, sage of cerulean, tell all, enlighten us, reveal the truth!
