*Sigh* .... Two more decks coming my way

Won two eBay auctions today.

First, picked up the Tarot of the Imagination. Some of the cards look creepy, but the one with the Eiffel Tower won me over. This seems to be a "different" deck, so figured I would chance it.

Then I got the Vikings Tarot. Not real familiar with this one but I am really becoming a big fan of the Lo Scarabeo decks and figured this was worth a try, too.

Any comments on either of these decks?

Congrats on winning your decks!

I haven't seen either of these, but I found this: http://www.spiritone.com/~filipas/Masquerade/Reviews/imag.html

...and I have to say, the Hanged Man as dripping snot cracks me up. :D

That Hanged Man...so he's just a booger in the sea of life? Ewww.

Laura -

Thanks for the link. It was nice to see some of the other cards. I hadn't seen a large version of the card with the Eiffel Tower - I find it interesting that it appears to be a depiction of the German occupation of Paris in WWII. This looks like a deck with some deep meanings.

Oh, and regarding the Hanged Man - if I had seen this card before I ordered it, I may have thought twice, lol. Our local Tarot Circle did a comparison of this card with some laid out from a couple of dozen decks. Until now, I thought the Buckland Romani had the most interesting Hanged Man (a dead rabbit) ...... I think we have a new winner, lol.

I really love the court cards of the Viking tarot. Really pretty cards and the seasons are represented so well.

dolphingirl - thanks for the feedback on the Vikings deck.. I was sort of unsure on this one, but nice to see someone else appreciates it, especially the Court Cards - those are important to me and am anxious to see them.

Thanks,
Dan
