If I do a google search of Tarocchi di Dante, the art edition site for Lo Scarabeo, Wonderful Tarot and Giordano Berti's commentary for the deck comes up in Italian.
If you have the one I think of, may I ask you a few questions? Does the box have a separate cover, do the cards have a textured stock? Is the instruction booklet in English with a doublesided fold of seven pages, making it 14 total pages?
The art editions from the "Wonderful Tarot" catalogue really have pretty boxes and textured stock...I find this a lovely tarot in the mass market version, but the glossy black stock gets smudged and I've noticed little nicks in my older edition. I just bought late last year a replacement deck, also mass market version.
Let me know if Italian links would be okay...or someone might post direct English links. The discussions that I know of only talk about the mass market version.
So many great Dante-related books and translations available as well if you like to research it...but I've heard one or two people just love to read it out of the box without doing that sort of thing. I'm thinking of my next investment being one of the Wonderful Tarots and the Dante might be perfect if I keep wearing out my glossy versions...

i think i must have the mass marketed one because i dont have a deparate cover....and i think its glossy altho it looks more matt coming from a photographers point of view. :) but def. not textured. no english in the instruction booklet. i'm at a complete loss. the cards arn't named the same as any of the other decks i have so i'm just kinda looking at them like a dumby. i'll have to find a book translated so i can figure out what they actually mean :)
the more i look at it the more i'm getting the feeling of christian under tones...well not so under i think there is a picture of jesus, another of mary, and lots of nuns and priests.
very interesting. i'm glad they got me it becuase it def. isn't one i would have gotten myself but now that i have it the more i'm liking it.
random coment of the day :
the 6 of lights looks like a crusder saying 'ooooOOOOOOOOooooo' almost disney like. :D

You should try reading Paula Gibby review/article.
I think it could be a good guide to the deck.

For the booklet, on the other hand, just write to
Riccardo@loscarabeo.com
with Your snail mail address and the request to have the booklet in English, as You have it only in Italian.
Best,
Riccardo

I just copied this recently and Berti freely gives this out, as he wrote the 'book'. This is a good version, because the regular LWB doesn't list the cantos and lines.
If you send me a PM, I can copy the booklet for you or you can send an email to the Lo Scarabeo information link on their website and they may be able to send you an English booklet.
Since you are in California, it won't cost me much to copy and mail a copy of the booklet it to you.

If you still do not have luck with your email to Lo Scarabeo, what I meant was you can send me a pm via aeclectic.net and then I'd copy the booklet.
I don't work for Lo Scarabeo, this was because I'm also a California resident who really likes these cards!
If you need help to check past aeclectic.net discussions of the Dante Tarot from Lo Scarabeo, I also might be able to help find some threads...because I periodically check out net discussions for anyone using this deck...it is a reoccuring favorite of mine.

P.S. There's another new neat book I saw in a local bookstore called "Dante In Love" and the author is going to speak on Monday. The reason I like it is she bases her information on a nice translation that a teacher told me was a great introduction to the poetic feel of the text. But if you want a great comic book-style summary to speed you along, I also have another recommendation. Two years ago I took an 10 week evening seminar on the Divine Comedy.
