Hi -
Here is another recent thread discussing this deck:
http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23652
Personally, this is a novelty deck to me. Since the images of the RWS are etched in my brain, it was nice seeing a different perspective. However, I would never do a reading with this one. I use it for study purposes. Some of the cards are rather dull, particularly the Court Cards. Some are interesting.

Don't apologize :) I just put the link in for your convenience ......
Not sure how long ago it came out. I happened upon it a few months ago right after I first heard of it. I will have to look at the copyright on the box (I currently don't have it with me), but would imagine it is about 1-2 years old.

I believe it came out last summer.
I have this deck also, but like contrascarpe96, I’ve never tried using it for readings. I do enjoy looking at it, and I think it has added some new ideas to incorporate into the normal RWS imagery.
It is a fun deck to have. I just have no idea of how I’d read with it though!

Add me to the list of those who think it is nice to have but wouldn't read with it.
In some of the cards, the new perspective is very interesting. In other cards, it sort of ruins my mental image of the scene. But, overall, I'm glad I have it to study with.

My urge here is to say "live on the edge a little, people!" lol
And please, that was meant affectionately.
What is this would 'never' read with it business?
Why not give it a go and see how it works?
I just traded for this, and am waiting for it now. In fact, I think it will open up the RW for me a bit.
I'm tempted to do what some people here have done with virtue's oracle decks: combine the RW and the New Vision and do a reading with both decks. Wouldn't it be cool to see if both perspectives of the same card showed up in the reading?
Alternatively, to do a RW reading and then spread out the same cards from the New Vision. How neat would that be?

I guess I will repeat myself...even though I posted in other threads on the subject...
Really really wanted to like this deck...
Really really tried to use it for readings...
Got really really frustrated with the images, and in the end...the whole darn concept...
Gave it away to a good home!

This deck just recently came out in a smaller pocket edition and i keep waiting for the local stores to get it. Does anyone have the pocket version of this deck? How do you like the smaller size?

I guess the main reason I don't feel I could read with it is because practically all of the cards depict people with their backs to me (which is obvious, lol). Something off-putting about that .....
There are some decks I own which I felt I could not read with and then voila! great readings. But this deck, from day one, screamed "study me but don't read me" and I haven't changed my opinion on that.
I would be interested in seeing you do a reading with this deck Lara (hint, hint) .....

Not a lot new to add. I got this deck (new) in a trade with catlin. Like others, it was fun to look through a couple of times but now sadly it sits on my shelf. I also find it impossible to read a deck wherein all of the principles have their backs turned to me.

Hi all,
I like this deck. It is a great one for me to use when I want to see what's going on behind my back! It's a fun deck to look at but I also think it works well as a reading deck.
