Just had to add the Tarot to go!

I was out shopping at the bookstore the other day and they had soo many good decks that I really thought that I should have. I'm sure no one here has that problem, right? haaahaahaa I wanted to get one, but I'm waiting for the Ancient Egyptian in the mail so I couldn't really convince myself to spend the $30 or so to bring home the Tarot of Paris, the Fairy Ring, or any of the other ones. (or ALL of them for that matter) Then I saw it, the Tarot to go with the Hanson-Roberts deck. Hmmm it's only $8. I took a look and the cards were great!

I really like the size. I saw the pictures on line and thought that they were a bit cutesy. Maybe it's just that they look better in person or that they look better (to me) smaller. I have to say that I am quite impressed with this deck!! I did three readings with it right as soon as I got home and wow! It's very easy for me to read. I like it!

Once you get the cards in your hands they really don't all look that cartoony or cutsie. I think that my favorite card is the "To All Believers" card and that's not even a 'real' card!! I'm soo excited to have this deck! I even brought it to work with me, because I can it's so small.

I just had to share this excitement with all of you. I mean without all of you I wouldn't have the seven decks that I have and that's just the first year! lol Thanks to everyone for their support. :D

I'm one of those who love the Hanson-Roberts. It's only cutesy on its face. Once you start reading with it, you realize how deep it is, and I've gotten incredible things out of it. The proof, to paraphrase an old saying, is in the reading.

I love the smaller size of this deck(yes i know the Hansen Roberts regular deck isn't very big lol) but this is great for my hand size. I also love the fact that they are comming out with more innexpensive tarot decks on the market. I can now buy a deck for someone that is interrested in tarot without killing my budget. I actually bought a second of this deck, one for traveling with me and one to keep at home and safe. At this price I can finally do that! :)

I saw the Tarot to Go and thought how useful to have in desk at work for readings etc. It is the deck I turn to 99% of the time and subsequently bought another Tarot to Go for home! There is so much information within the pictures of this deck that helps with readings and where you feel drawn to go.

Got the "Tarot to Go" last week and I love it! found it excellent for those times when you need a original gift or when you want to introduce Tarot for the 1st time to someone as it contains the Hanson Roberts deck which is very close to RW people can develop Tarot interest from a good an easy starting point, the book provides summary information for each card (including reversals).

I am now looking for a normal size Hanson Roberts deck, this will be very useful to do readings for female friends as my current Avalon Tarot is more aimed for males.

Everyone says the characters in this deck look very childish, that is correct but those more "obscure and tragic" cards are represented as they must be without painting them in pink, I feel a balance in deck as a whole, another thing I liked from this deck is that seems a RW deck under new, fun and fresh "camera angles", nice approach.

Even if you already own the Hanson Roberts deck, "Tarot to Go" makes a nice collector item.

You mean the Tarot To Go version is even smaller than the regular sized Hanson-Roberts?

Anyone know what the deck dimensions are? See I always thought H-R size was as small as they got, with the exception of silly ones like the Tiny Universal Waite ;) (Which I do have, btw. You can just about make out the pictures. :D )

The Tarot to Go version is 3.25 inches by 2 inches and 7/8 inches thick.

Wow, talk about pocket-sized! Are the images too small to make out details, or are the images still clear?

ScarabFlight  12 May 2004
I don't have any problem with the picture size, I can still make everything out just fine. Personally I think the smaller size looks better than the 'normal' size. I LOVE this deck.

No problem to see the images, anyway as my first contact with this particular deck I look for the normal size to get more used to it.
