I have our TIVO set to record shows with the word tarot in them and it recorded an episode from (I think last monday from the soap channet) of a person doing a reading with tarot cards and all that is vissible is the back side of the cards and the fronts when she turns them over are white. I recognize the backs of the cards but can't place what deck they are from. Did anyone see this deck or know what it is> It looks like it is yellow with black and a odd design that looks similar to the Kalevala Tarot to me. Thanks for any help Samantha

I'm a big fan of this show (I know, I know) and this woman, Celeste, is a psychic in the show and she always uses the same deck. Because of this I know it is not the Kalevala tarot because the images are quite different from the ones on the deck she uses. She pulls the Death card a lot (typical) and it is very distinct, a grim reaper I believe in realistic artwork, greyish-blue colours. I myself have been wondering which deck this is but unfortunately I don't know enough about tarot decks to figure it out. The cards seem very nice, perhaps with our information combined someone else might know?

I, too have become a 'Days junkie' since my maternity leave. *blush* And I just cannot figure out what deck that is. The only card I have ever actually seen is the Death card and after an hour of searching images of 'death+tarot' on google and yahoo, finally decided to write the "Days of Our Lives" producers via e-mail asking exactly this question. It's been about two or three weeks now and still no answer, so if I ever hear anything, I'll let you know.

I have no clue what deck it could be- but I happen to catch an episode months back where all the cards where Death cards.... now if you watch the soap after that, "Passions"....there's a dark witch in that one.....LOL.....she burps butterflies.

Dear lunalafey, Passions...is that the show with a young boy in it with a bad haircut? I happened to catch one episode (yep folks, am only admitting to one, and it wasn't the full episode either). Granted that in Aus, we may be several hundred episodes behind everywhere else...but there was some kind of a court hearing where a pregnant woman was on trial for murder and she nearly gave birth....have I got the right show? I just caught another episode of this show where Celeste was reading her cards again, and (unless they change decks every episode...they can with all of that money) I am almost convinced it is a Greenwood. But since I dont actually have a Greenwood, I cant be positive. I saw a lot of pip cards, but could someone tell me if the pips are illustrated in this deck or not......

The Greenwood deck does have illustraited pips. I just haven't got a clue what the cards are and am starting to wonder if they were created just for the show. The one episode I saw showed just the backs and all the fronts were blank white (cause the cards wern't talking to her lol)

I have seen the show with celeste reading tarot. I really dont think it is the greenwood tarot. I swear I have seen that deck before just cant place it. I think it is like a riderwaite where it has not changed what the majors are etc. The back that I have seen is kind of yellowish brownish, earthy, with little black lines with that are symbols, like a diamond with all the lines reaching the middle..SOmething along those lines.

I just checked the Death card on the Greenwood and Rider Waite--neither image matches. The figure of death on the RWS is similar, but the image is completely different. This one's tough to place!

Hmm.... I watch Days but I don't recall seeing a clear picture of them... does your show credit any company in the final credits?
