WOW! I went to Ciro Marchetti's website and fell in love with his hand made deck immediately! But although I was tempted to buy it for $355, and even with the blessing of my wonderful wife who reminded me I wanted to upgrade my Paintball Marker, I decided not to buy a deck that I might not use for readings because of its collectibility. So I'll wait... and when Christmas comes around, THAT DECK IS MINE! :) I didn't buy the deck... but I did go with the other alternative... I bought the standard deck at www.llewellyn.com for $24!!! I would have paid more mind you! I can't wait to get this deck into my hands. It looks like it can take over as my favorite deck to use. Almost a unversal deck as far as my readings go. We actually have an existing thread on the Gilded Tarot here: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20304 Your enthusiasm over Ciro's deck is shared by many members here...anxiously awaiting the September release by Llewellyn. I am curious: you mentioned having ordered yours from Llewellyn...I am assuming this was a pre-order, since it is not due to come out for a couple more months, is that right? Please let us know if you were able to order it early through Llewellyn....I know that would make many of us VERY happy!!! :D Thanks for posting! :) Luna

It is not being released until September! Did you pre-order or order? Many tarotholics may be itching as well?--Tao

Just checked the Llewellyn website.... The Gilded is listed as being due in September 2004..... Apparently you can order it now for $24.95.... but it will not be shipped until September.....sorry :eek: :( It was worth checking out anyway, right??? :) Luna

Unfortunately I forgot to mention I have to wait till September to get it! :) Only 2 1/2 months away!!!
