Just got this deck. It's my fourth deck after the Smith-Waite, the Haindl and the Crowley Thoth (in that order). And I have to say that it's the greatest deck I've ever seen. I've only read with it twice, but both times I kept looking at a card and having an image flash into my mind's eye and instantly knowing what it means. The first reading I did, I turned over the Princess of Coins and instantly knew who it referred to. I had several similar experiences in the same reading, but this was the most profound. The second spread I did was to help me make a character for a roleplaying game. I looked at the first card (the Five of Swords) and I suddenly not only had a rough personality and background and a general sense of the stats I wanted, but this sudden urge to draw a rough sketch of him (even though I hadn't drawn in months).
I'd just like to thank Robert Wang for making such a wonderful deck. I love how the facial expressions of the characters play such a large role in the symbolism, especially on the Court cards. The pips seem a little minimalist for my taste, and sometimes they can be kind of difficult to interpret because of this, but they still work fine.
I'd never had an experience like this before I got the Jungian pack. Has anyone had similar experiences with this deck?

Thanks for the recommendation.
I thought it would be a study deck for an art and Jungian types history course, but it didn't quite fit with my class.
But I'll pull it out again for writing projects-I can see how the personality and family types of meanings would work, now that you pointed it out.
Thanks again! Hope you enjoy this great deck (I like the art as well).

Hm, I'll have to check this deck out, Jung and his archetypes fascinate me, and are certainly very relevant to the tarot. Infact, it was Jung's ideas about archetypes and the collective unconscious that led me to investigat tarot cards.
