I purchased the following decks today:
Tarot of the New Vision
I now have a different outlook on the Magician Card. Who knew there was a monkey hidden behind him?
The cards are beautiful but I didn't get a strong feel for them right off the bat. I guess the change of perspective really shows how trained we are with traditional views. Even with the use of several different decks, artworks, and themes, just by changing the POV like Tarot of the New Vision does, puts a whole different perspective on things. It might take me a while to get use to these cards.
I also purchased:
Winged Spirit Tarot
I fell in love with these cards when I first saw them. It took me a while to purchase them but I'm glad I did. I hope to do some readings soon with these cards. Although they have nice artwork, they feel a little plain and boring. But that's at first glance. The LWB helps understand the angels and upon closer inspection and interpretation of the cards, alot can be derived or read from them. Nice deck.
Finally...
Zerner-Farbor Tarot
Here's a beautiful deck. But the beauty seems to be a little bit of a distraction for me. On special occasion I may pull this deck out. Maybe if it fits the person I'm reading for. But its best served on my shelf for now. Does anyone use this deck for readings?
Those were the three decks I purchased at THE BODHI TREE BOOKSTORE in West LA.
I still want to add the following to my purchase list:
Rider Waite(mine is worn out)
Radiant Rider Waite
Lord of the Rings (everyone has to have this one! :) )
Aquarian
Chinese
Gendron Tarot
Tarot of the Moon Garden
Fey Tarot

I was so impressed by the beauty of the cards that I could not keep from acquiring them. I find they work best when reading for people you care about. These are probably one of my more favorite decks. Sigh! I do have several decks and sometimes certain decks seem better suited for certain readings. If I had to put it in a simile then it is like having an angel deliver a message.--Tao

I bought the Winged Spirit tarot many years ago and I have to say, even though the artwork is great, I never use them. It is a little plain for me as well and not much visual symbolism to tap into. The background on the angels is an advantage though and I am sure that once you have researched it will make for an interesting and original reading deck.
Best wishes and have fun with your decks.

Congrats on the new decks! I am waiting to get a copy of the mini Tarot of the new Vision deck. I liked the idea for this deck quite a bit. With so many decks out there on the market it is nice to see people comming up with new ideas such as the change of view on this one. I also like the artwork and think that this deck would be really neat with the Radient Rider Waite deck is on your wish list.
Winged Spirit - I do like the illustrations but I do wish that the backgrounds were more detailed.
Zerner-Farber Tarot- I have the large version the Enchanted tarot? and my copy seems awfully washed out compared to the scans of the ZF deck.
You have some great decks on your wish list of those.
Rider Waite- There are so many cool versions of this deck, I really want the pocked Universal Waite version.
Radiant Rider Waite- Cool deck love the colors (mine smelled kind of bad and needed an airing when I got it)
Lord of the Rings - I feel sory for this deck as it gets alot of - reviews and I think it is kind of cute
Aquarian- I like the New Palladini deck by the same artist. Very similar but the NP is his newer deck and has more vibrant colors
Chinese- cool I haven't seen this one much but wow it looks neat
Gendron Tarot- I love all the animals in this deck my only qualm is some of the heads on people just don't seem to fit right on the bodies
Tarot of the Moon Garden- Totally cool I have a well used copy and would love to have a new one. Totally cool colors and lots of neat fantasy critters
Fey Tarot- I love the artwork on this deck. It isn't a deck that is an "easy" read for me but almost anyone who you ask says that it is lol. It is definitely worth the time to work with it. Also the book is really great it goes behind the scenes a bit with some of the illustrations and talks about how they evolved.
Congrats on the new decks you got some really great ones!

I have a copy of the LotR tarot deck with LWB but without the box (I was silly and threw it away). I'd be happy to trade it to you if you like :)
