I'm going to Quebec City (in Quebec, Canada) the first week of July and I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good stores for tarot and related items?
Would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,

There are more stores in Montreal but ...
There's a New Age store (or at least there was one last year) on rue St-Jean. Rue St-Jean is adjacent to the old city.
There are also some general (i.e., non New Age) bookstores on rue St-Jean as well as on the main drag in the old city. There's also a large-box bookstore, Archambault, in the large Place Sainte-Foy mall near Laval University, in Sainte-Foy. These stores carry mostly French books but tarot and oracle decks can be spotted.
I too would like to hear of any other stores in La Vieille Capitale.

I bought the Hadar Marseilles deck in a natural food market with a pretty decent new age section. Give me a day and I can find out the name of the store and where it was.
Enjoy Quebec. It's a beautiful city.

According to Woof's link, that health food store is in Laurier Centre in Ste-Foy. There are three malls in a row. The mall nearest the university - Place Ste-Foy - is the one where the Archambault is.

Thanks, Rusty and Woof. Maybe I will buy a Marseilles deck too, seems like Quebec City would be the place to do that :). I've never been to Quebec city before so I'm quite excited about the trip. I will let you know if I find anything else while I'm there.

Not sure what's going on in Quebec but...
Montreal has many wonderful summer festivals. Montreal Jazz fest, Just For Laughs comedy fest, the fireworks at La Ronde, and probably other events. Quebec is far from Montreal... 6hrs I think by car...Not sure... But if you can visit both cities it would be even cooler. They're very different.
What I love about Montreal is that we dont really have many 'ghettos' here. Sure we have them, but in my life experience living here since I was 2 I've always been gifted with lots of diversity in my schools and around me. Not so much when I grew up but once I went to high school. I remember a time I was on the bus... and I'll never forget this... I was on the 221 or the 211 and I saw different people on the bus reading newspapers in different languages. Often when you go to say a hospital or some other public place, they have not only english and french newspapers on the tables, but russian, german, mandarin, whatever... that people often bring with them and set down. It's a wonderful place to visit aswell. Canada as a whole is incredible. So much diversity everywhere but mostly in Montreal I imagine.

It's about two and a half hours each way by car between Montreal and Quebec City.

Frequency, you certainly do live in a great city. I live in Ottawa, so I have been to Montreal a few times and loved it. I have thought about moving there sometimes also. thanks,
