Hi there folks, can anyone help i wonder. The story so far:-
I have searched and searched for any imformation about this deck, but alas have had no joy what so ever. My searching has brought wonderful things, like knowledge and me here, but no hints of a direction yet.
My wife consulted another Tarot reader the other day, and in the course of conversation it came to light that she is looking to replace a tarot deck she once swapped, this is her description
It originated in beligian
It has 3 witches on the cover of the deck
It is mainly black and white, but has some bright colour occasionally
Apparently the deck was banned due to the strength of them (this I doubtful about, as i can not imagine this to be true these days)
It was called "The witches Tarot", but is not the commonly known deck of this title
It is available still only in europe
it was created or based on the last witches to be killed
my thoughts to date are that the description matches the royal fez moroccan deck, but i can not find the cover image to confirm or deny this
It might have been a hybrid marseille deck, but the cover image seems wrong
Thankyou for reading this, and thankyou for any thoughts you might have

thanks for the reply, but no i dont think so, the colours dont seem bright enough, and are too plentiful, but i stand to be corrected if someone has the deck cover, and has the images of 3 witches on the front

Are you sure this was a Tarot deck, and not an Oracle deck?

Nope! Only I know there are a number of Belgian Oracle decks that never get distributed widely. :) I have a lovely one called the Isis Oracle deck.

You leave Diana alone. So she has a few misguided ideas about the Marseille - oh...is she still here? *looks around*
Just kidding. :)
I haven't been swayed yet, but it could happen.
I started out reading purely intuitively. Only!
Recently I've been guided to learn traditional meanings, and I'm starting with RW style decks.
I spose Marseille might not be too far behind!

Thankyou for your wonderful replies and thoughts, the lady who is looking to replace them was sure it was a tarot deck
but Diana would you have anymore direction on the comment regarding the not widely distributed oracle decks from Belgian, this seems like a great avenue to go down in the quest to help this lady
