I just got the World Spirit deck in the mail - my first deck. I picked it because it seemed visually appealing, with good symbolism and interesting cultural/mythological imagery. I'm interested to know others' experiences with this deck. What cards are your favorites? What things about the deck or an individual card stick out to you or seem to hold special meaning? How do you like to use this deck and what kind of readings have you done with it? Since this is my first deck, I've also posted a thread in the "Using Tarot Cards" section with some general questions about learning, so please leave a post there too if you have any suggestions about getting started in general. Thanks.

Just a tip: the search function is often a helpful first place to go if you've got a query of any sort. Chances are the topic has already come up once (or twice or two million gazillion times) and there's already a huge number of posts answering your question already.
Of course, many topics are well worthy of a rehash, so feel free to bump a previous thread or start a new one on the same topic if you so wish :)

Hello Deus ex Machina,
The World spirit is a wonderful deck. It was the first deck which I really connected with and I love it. It and the Morgan Greer are the 2 decks which I always come back to, they're my comfort decks :)
The World Spirit uses Rider Waite Smith meanings but the images are just different enough to be really interesting - you can get so much out of these cards - the more you look, the more you see. There are some real classics in there:
Strength (8)
3 of Cups
8 of swords
2 of swords
The High Priestess
I could go on :D
There are some unlikable cards but the good ones far outnumber them.
I've done a search for you using and come up with some threads. There was a study group but it fizzled out - it gets revived every now and then
Here are the search results:
http://www.tarotforum.net/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=344493&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending
There's also an excellent interview with the deck creators Lauren O'Leary and Jessica Goldino - you can read it here
Hope that's helped and have fun with your new deck - it's a good one.
Love
Sulis xx

I have found that to find the many World Spirit threads, search for World Spirit in Titles rather than the Entire Post... :) You'll get about two pages of threads, rather than the many more you get without the restriction...

Welcome to the forums, Deus!
In addition to the search function, you should know that there is a World Spirit study group that has recently started up again, under General Study Groups.
Have fun!
