Right now, I would have to say 'The Rohrig' but I am awaiting the 'Soprafino' and after looking at it in pictures, wonder if the Rohrig may get pushed aside for a little while.
"Rohrig, it's time for a vacation! I've got a new mate coming to stay!" - Rohrig packs itself up in its box, and with head down, leaves by the door, dropping a 'breast' or two on its way out (anyone that knows the Rohrig will understand that reference, due to the amount of them that are splashed throughout this great deck lol).
Best wishes

Ancestral Path - has been my favourite for some time and is still the winner I think, although I spend a lot of time at the moment with the Tarot of Prague. I haven't had it for long and am still discovering it.

Whichever is the most recent I've gotten;-) Currently the Servants of the Light deck, but I'm not sure it loves me back. The most wonderfully imagined Majors I've ever seen, though. Better readings with the Alchemical Tarot; great if derivative artwork, too. However I bonded with the Osho Zen Tarot on first reading, have never had to look up the meaning of a card in the book, and suspect that I have a lifetime committment here.

Good choice Moonbow ... same as mine.
Also, funnily enough, I was talking to Diana earlier and told her that at the next financial opportunity, the Hadar is the next one on my list.
So ..... I'll be picking your brains in the 'not so far' future lol.

All three are excellent choices. I particularly like the Tarot of Prague. It has a powerful feel. I use it on a daily basis. The Rohrig Tarot can be tricky to shuffle becouse of the large cards.--Tao

My favorite is the Ancestral Path (although once Maat is published it could have some competition!). A close second is Songs for the Journey Home. I do like the Rohrig too, though. And I absolutely adore my Rock & Roll tarot--though I rarely read with it.

Right now I have four that I alternate with:
The Osho Zen and Vargo's Gothic for daily card readings....
And the Gilded and Rohrig for full readings.....
But I have a few other favorites that I try to sneak in every now and then!!! })

Just 1??? arrggh, so difficult.
Well, at this moment in time its my morgan greer. I have just spent an incredible weekend reading for friends with this deck.
One of the many reasons why I love this deck is that the images are so striking and clear. When I read with this deck I find that my querents are able to pick up on things that they see within the cards, and we can explore the spread together. I really like the people I read for to be as involved as possible in the reading and I think the morgan greer makes that process so much easier.

I go through favorites all the time...besides my default decks(Hanson Roberts and the RWS)...I change my favorite deck on a fairly regular basis. Last month it was the Buckland Romani, the month before that it was the Morgan Greer.
This month is the FERRET TAROT...
Sweet , funny and quite mischievious...this deck has taken over, and MUST be the center of my attention. It won't allow me to read with another deck, and if I try, it will distract me by doing a cool new trick, or by getting in somewhere it shouldn't be.
Not that I mind...this is without a doubt one of the best reading decks I own!

I have just received my , and I can say with confidence that it will be my favorite deck for a long time. Although I have received a few more decks at the same time , I find myself coming back to more often. WOW
I have yet to find one single flow in this deck, not that I am looking for one. It is near perfect.

And I'm Waiting for the Ferret Tarot.
Ordered but yet to arrive, and Chronatas happy comment above is not making me any less jumping with anticipation whenever the word "ferret" is seen. *s*
For now though.. Well, I'm starting to Really discover the Phantasmgoric Theatre now which really draws me to it simply by getting to know it more closely, but have other decks that float to the surface on and off.

My deck of choice right now, is the Gilded Tarot. It just might replace the Tarot of the Spirit as my main deck.

Even with the recent influx of new decks I have gotten, I have to say that Tarot of Prague is securely anchored as my favorite deck.

Tarot of Prague is firmly ensconsed as one of my fav's too merc! In fact it has been for several months. The only time I defer from it really is for a TdM, usually Hadar but I also use Fournier and Camoin.
As you say, many come and go but the firm favourites don't seem to change.

For meditation and daily cards, The Goddess Tarot remains my favorite.
I have a new deck waiting for me at home that is likely to draw me into its glittering, silky, velvet smooth, and furry profusion: the Baroque Bohemian Cats. It just looks like it will be THE deck for cold autumn and winter nights, for readings by candlelight.

My favorite deck is the Margarete Petersen. My favorite reading decks are the Robin Wood and the LS Tarot of the Imagination (although I must say that after working with the Baroque Bohemian Cats, it could be a contender).
Nothing compares to the Margarete Petersen IMHO though.

The WorldTree is my deck of choice right now, I have used the Ancestral Path a bit- the Hanged One still comes up in my readings with other decks! That was the card that made me buy it.
I own a Rohig deck, don't you find it rather negative? I find all the captions so negative even on cards I usually find as positve. I do like the art even so.

The Rohrig is one of my favorites - I don't find it any more negative than any other deck. I do ignore Key Words on most decks (the only exception being the TAO Oracle). Key words tend to cheapen a deck IMO. The Rohrig, however, stands on its own even without the words.

My favourite deck is the Timeless Truth Tarot by Leila Vey. It is so vivid and intuitive. I really enjoy looking at the pictures. I find the readings make sense to me. So I get to combine imagery and utility. Could I ask for more? :)

from the Royal Thai for my own readings.
But some others are getting good vibrations:
Druidcraft/Forest Folklore is giving some nice readings for others. I love them as naturalistic tarot tools.
Lovers Path for some special tarotists that have looked at my deck seems to have shown a fascinating and different window....
I picked up my old Jane Lyle "Lovers Tarot" anniversary edition and my Neoclassical di Gumppenberg 1811, last night, but the flavor of the Royal Thai was what I was yearning for a nice evening reading for myself...
Regards,
Cerulean
