Readings are seeded by a random-number generator assigned to the date of the lunar month. The cards are not "good" or "bad", they do not predict the future, nor do they do any work for you. They do offer creative inspiration and subtle insight on the energy available in a situation. The way you use it is up to you!

I did a simple 3-card reading. It's good to have a deck that tells you what the plants, animals etc. are.
My second card was the Madrone of Coils, I have the impetus to look up some of these things like the blue glaucus sea slug, and violet snail.
The best decks are like this! I've come to the point where I only buy decks (not necessarily tarot) where I can explore and learn, and this is one of the best decks for that. I've been waiting for 2.5 years and I'm so pleased that Lorena found a way to express such totally interesting ideas.

You're right, I'm sorry, I wasn't reading it properly--will edit.
She's been inundated with e-mail from me for two years, I tend to enthuse every 4 months or so.

by card as Lorena created each has been almost like visiting Pamela
in her London flat back on a foggy day in 1909... I feel truly priveleged.

I came across this deck way back in January 2002 when she had only a few cards up and was posting on the Comparative Tarot list as each card was done.
It just hit me as being so fresh, I liked it, and Lorena's interest in blacksmithing and geology.....I mean, I've never heard of anyone with these interests. Combine that with her obvious love and study of nature and you get something totally unique.
I can't believe a major publisher couldn't see this. We get all this copy-cat stuff published and yet here is an artist with her own vision and system creating a wondrous deck and having to self-publish it. I always find decks with different systems appealing.
Her painted gourds are gorgeous too and those jewellery doodads...sorry I can't think what else to call them--forged shapes? Bells and trinkety things and spiralled....things.
[needs lesson in proper nomenclature for metal shapey things.]

I discovered this deck/site last winter and loved the black and white, besides the amazing drawings. I'm thrilled it's coming out now.
I was interested that in the 3 windows spread (on the site) the "spirit guide" is chosen from the court cards. To see them as spirit guides is totally new and fascinating to me. Is this original with Lorena or have I missed that before?
Looking forward to this deck! What a thrill to have so many creative people producing decks and finding them here (fonding my Bohemian cats and my Sakki-Sakki!)

You know, every time I use the 3 or 4 card free reading, I get some pretty solid answers. There's enough in the images to really give clear readings even if you don't understand the descriptions below (references I'm not used to, not being a geologist).

Interesting deck. Unusual mix. Feels really earthy to me in color, then to read that the creator's into geology makes total sense!
Having online readings is a great way to explore the deck. Thanks for making this available.
By the way, just did a 4 card elemental reading and was surprised by the result:
Fire= Sun
Water= High Priestess
Air= Star
Earth= Devil
Feeling that the deck is speaking (maybe almost shouting) to me already :)
I sense the possibility to learn alot from it. Again, thanks! Will be checking in frequently and watching for the deck's release.
