Hey everyone! =) I know before I had talked about picking up the vampire tarot deck from...eh. forgot who did it. *sigh* It's on this site. Aaanywaays....While up in Barnes and Noble yesterday morning I saw the Medieval Scapini deck and it just clicked; that was the one....well...ha. Maybe not THE ONE, but...you get the idea anyway, right? =P Right. So.....Does anyone else have this deck? I'm getting along with it great....anything I should know about first starting tarot reading? Many thanks and blessings! =)

Hi Tragic_Rhapsody,
Welcome to Aeclectic!
Everyone here has forgotten to do a search first to see if there was already a thread for their question.. and it really is okay to start a new thread too.. so don't feel bad. : )
I just got the book for the deck by Ronald Decker. I actually bought it because he is an excellent authority on the history of Tarot, and knew it would be an interesting book.
I think the book is fairly new, so if you haven't got it already, you might consider it if you really like the deck. It is a very intersting read.
best,
robert

Hi Tragic Rhapsody,
I have this deck too and like it a lot. I did not know there was a book available though.
The best way to start off doing readings is to just do them! What does the picture show? How does it make you feel? How do you think the person in the card feels?
That sort of thing.
Welcome to Aeclectic!
